About Falcon Festival
The Falcon Festival is an annual celebration held in Umrangso, aiming to create awareness about the Amur Falcons, the world’s longest-traveled migratory birds. These majestic birds visit Dima Hasao, Assam, every year during late October to early November to roost.
In the past, these birds faced threats due to hunting, but thanks to the efforts of Blue Hills Society, in collaboration with Wildlife Trust of India, Department of Forest (Assam), Dima Hasao District Administration, North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council, and local youth forums, the Amur Falcons are now protected.
This festival not only promotes wildlife conservation but also showcases the natural beauty of Dima Hasao, fostering tourism and offering a platform for cultural exchange.

You video is totally paid and promotion.....You are not showing the clear picture of the EVENT.....Management of Falcon Festival is totally waste, firstly they charge very high price for the ticket, secondly for entry again you have buy ticket for parking, thirdly for your own tent you have to again buy ticket, fourthly for using of toilet you have to again buy ticket...... Their is no facility......... totally they will spoil your trip.....
