• LAPTOP OVERHEATING - E...
I'll show you how to fix a laptop that is overheating, by cleaning the fan and changing the thermal paste. I'll also show you how to fix a laptop that is not starting, by checking the battery and turning on the laptop safely. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms on your laptop, then this video is for you: your laptop is overheating, the fan is not working, or the laptop is not starting. Наука
My man casually removing the cover from back of the laptop and doing technical stuff but still getting 60°C
Bro thats the maximum recorded temperature by the software the current temperature is around 50 degree which is around okay for idle or while doing simple task
Haha, I know, right? It's like a never-ending battle with laptop temperatures! Thanks for sharing the laughter, my friend!
60 is normal
Put your laptop in the fridge then ,temperatures easily drops to 10°C lol
@@TheIneffable❤
Me looking at my laptop with broken warranty seal:
Laptop: No you don't...
I don't think anyone noticed, but the CPU usage was 97% when he showed us the 80°c temp.
After applying the thermal paste, he showed us 60°c temp; but the CPU usage was only 37%.
So I feel cheated and mislead.
yeah but temp will definetly be lower now, and some settings can make it stay there like power management etc
My laptop still overheats after doing above mentioned steps. It heats up for a barbeque just as I run a benchmark for once
disable processor performance boost mode look up a video
@@mkplayz9709 thanks for the tip but actually it was a motherboard issue but now that it is fixed it runs cool even when gaming
@@legendvaishnav5758 what was the motherboard issue?
run some copper flat tubes from gpu, cpu an mem chips to the radiator if you can
What was the issue bro? @@legendvaishnav5758
this will only restore the original cooling capacity. it'll probably work well if you have an old laptop that used to not overheat. but if the cooling solution was fundamentally bad from the get go, this isn't gonna help
MY Laptop goes 41. and when gaming it goes 99-100 wtf
normal
You are crazy if you think thats nornal. @@qwertyuiopasdf160
How long have you had the laptop? did you ever clean the fans or repaste it.
Same lol, it's less than 1 year old and I've just cleaned it and also reapplied thermal paste, temps drop about 3-4°C when idle but still spikes to 90-100°C when gaming for a while.
You should keep lap in a good airflow position and normal temperature room and make sure you Ac adapter is working fine?
Be careful if you have a laptop that uses liquid metal instead of thermal paste. One drop of that liquid metal outside the GPU and CPU copper cooling, the system board is toast.
How to know?
It is glossy metallic like aluminum foil. It won't be matte or dark silver color.
but if your laptop has it normally they seal the motherboard around it with non conductive band. So companies do know that
Maybe this helps someone have a gaming laptop for around 7 years. Clean fans thermal paste clean vent everything good still over heating.
*Needed a battery change*. Worn out battery overheated motherboard and everything else. Went from 65C idle to 38C idle.
Hey do you really think worn out batteries increase heat?
@Abujoudofkush3178 from my personal experience, yes.
1. New/Clean Fans ✅️
2. Air Flow ✅️
3. Fresh Thermal Paste ✅️
4. No programs taking up mem/cpu/gpu ✅️
Result #1 = Idle 60 - 65°, in game 98°- crash
Checked battery condition (HWInfo/Monitor)
- Battery wear level 98%
- Battery says fully charged but is performing at 70% of max capacity
1. Changed battery ✅️
- Wear level 0
- 99.9% capacity
Result #2 = Idle 35°-38°, in game 78°- 83°
@@Abujoudofkush3178 so start with checking your battery condition with HwInfo/HwMonitor
@@Abujoudofkush3178 motherboards are built with good thermal conductivity material. Laptops tend to have higher temperature due to limited airflow. So an increase of temperature from one component do effects the others significantly
For yours, the cooling system is similar to mine, the cpu uses thermal paste, but the gpu *the chip that’s directly on the mobo* uses thermal pads.
People keep saying this will damage the fan/motor etc etc, but it just cannot do that if its unplugged and removed. Its common sense.
That's your common sense because you don't know how a fan is built and basic physics.
what brand of thermal paste do you recommend?
What paste do you recommend?
And get an ssd
How long it can be used bro ?
My mac is that how I can feel myself burning
I have to use my laptop without the backpanel, and keeping on a cooling pad..
If I play without doing this, it heats up & completely freezes, requiring hard shut down.
like we have the new paste the hell
Title says easy way to get rid of heat and proceeds to remove his fan from his laptop… also applying new paste on cpu is crazy… I bought a laptop cooler pad on Amazon and now it’s only around 30-40 degrees
Yes it's very easy
how were you able to check the temperature of your laptop?
Hwinfo
Msi afterburner is really good too
Just inspect it 🗿
My laptop is on 103 c while gaming
NOTE: HOLD THE FAN BEFORE CLEANING IT WILL DAMAGE THE FAN
mine doesnt have a fan bro..
wow you have exactly same laptop as i have . linovo e545 Thinkpad
Oh, so this is an e545. I have an e545 that runs Linux. I haven’t used it in like 3 months because the keyboard broke. It isn’t my main laptop, my main laptop is an hp omen that runs windows.
For little use thermal pastes are too expensive
Some shops sell them by grams, so if you need little use i recommend buying 1 gram, about 14 bucks, some shops also sell them on packages for the same price and give you things like thermal pads for free, you can use them for your ssd or other things
@@MrCornholio1812 on Amazon I found few of them of about 2-3 dollars but that too isn't less plus the delivery fee and I just need it for my laptop's gpu and cpu only
How the laptop cpu can be swap
is that overheating? my hp was around 97 i changed the thermal paste and it's now around 85
Bro My laptop cpu sits at 97 C
I did it and it didnt reduce the temp while gaming
Us pr lgaya kya?

That’s not how you clean ur fan. It can damage the motor. Make sure to not make the fan move.
It shouldn't damage it if you unplugged it I think. The danger would be sending voltage back into the laptop (spinning it would basically turn it into a generator.)
@@sergiv5613that and ruin the bearings
@@sergiv5613I the motor an inbuilt diode

That doesnt sound like easy solution
Not in acer nitro 5 only one thing can do with this one 🚮
I have a gaming laptop that runs 81 degrees Celsius but it's normal it has 1 fan And it's a thin laptop with the rtx 3050 And I have replaced the thermal paste so
I have a laptop with mx350 and also one fan (I think this is not enough even for such low end gpu like mx350 not saying about rtx3050)
mine reaches almost 99°C
No kidding! and i'm affraid to
to DIY my pc and end up breaking something!
+ our regional "PC technicians" most likely will break something in your PC trying to fix it!
so you end up with a new problem
Emagine opening up your laptop thermal paste ready and it uses liquid metal instead. (P.S. I have been there)
I have a problem. I have a Gigabyte Aorus model laptop. I first tried Kyronaut and then MX6, but the CPU does not go below 90 degrees, what should I do?
The best solution for that kind of laptops is Honeywell PTM7950 or Upsiren PCM-1 from ali. Regular paste like that yogibear stuff degrades very fast on those temperatures.
Another option is undervolting and restricting the turboclocks a bit with "Throttlestop" on some gaming laptops you can disable the undervolt/overclock lock inside the bios.
@@harrydijkstra9936 i try ptm but its not worked
How often do I have to clean out fan, change thermal paste
Usually if I'm keeping a laptop long term and I use it heavily, I do it every 3-4 years. It might be better to do it after you get a new laptop because you don't know if the paste used is quality or not, or if the laptop was bought used.
Clean laptop fans every 4-6 months and repaste it every two years.
@@MrskeleeqweI’m having issues after 6 months 65-70 idles and 95+ gaming I took it apart and the fans don’t look to dirty. Could it be the paste, mine is Liquid Metal cooled and I definitely don’t feel comfortable replacing it considering I could short my laptop
@@landen5863 Get a laptop cooling pad. may I ask what model of laptop do you use some laptops are just naturally hot, also if you don't care about about performance loss undervolt your CPU.
80 c 💀💀💀
How do u do that like open to see how much ur core heat is
HWmonitor
is it ok to spin fan while cleaning???
cause it will damage the motor...
Yea it will damage the motor you should use plastic clippers to hold the fan and then brush it
If the fan is removed then yes, it's alright. It won't damage the motor. You don't want to spin it when it's connected however because it can send voltage back into the system and cause a short.
@@Beanpolr oh thanks for the info
bruh still 50/60C maybe you missed stuff? lmao but what do i knoe you seem to be the professional
Sure! It's an i5 3rd gen, which means it's an older system consuming more power and, consequently, generating more heat.

Mine reaches 100 after cleaning
You mean Fahrenheit? 100 Celsius is too much
@@minecrapchannel7425 nah mine reaches 110 C while gaming, it normal for laptops
@simonwinkler7299 its like 45-49C here. I even contacted HP support and they sent me a replacement laptop and it still goes to 110C.
Besides, most laptop processors are rated for a tj max of 105 to 110C. It is not advised to run at these high temps but usually companies dont give a shit about cooling unless you are paying 800usd+ for a laptop
