Government should not fund private education . Who owns these charter schools? What are the controls of the standard of leanings?
Government should not fund education. But speaking of "controls of learnings", people who have seen private schools abroad know that NZ education has low standards. Private schools always improve quality.

Generally is the country short of schools? If not we don't need to fund additional schools.
It is short of good schools. The decision of where parents want to send their children should be left to them. You and I do not together form a "we" for my children. You look after yours and leave other people to look after theirs.

Charter schools is just his safe way of saying "bring your kids here my people, there will no maris there i promise they wont be able to afford it and we wont make the school teach them about the maris"
Will a charter school teach people so they can pick fruit, clean offices, drive trucks, pick up rubbish, paint houses, cut lawns, work as a prison officer, shop assistant, check person at pak a sav etc?
Government schools are doing a good job of that already. NZ is a country of low expectations and high self-image.
Seymour is the Joan of Arc of NZ politics. Embrace him.
What makes you say that? and I dont think he has the charm or charisma neer those levels yet. He comes across as a spiteful dork of a human. Not so much of a leader in my view.
