As someone who grew up in SF, i’m glad you guys were cautious and stayed safe! SF wasn’t as bad years ago but then when the pandemic hit, there’s more crime and homelessness in SF.
you guys def went to one of the best food spots at SF! :)
Everything woke turns into shit!
The City got hit hard by the pandemic. It was preceded by gentrification and then abandonment. SF keeps recovering from disasters and rebuilding. Assassinations, the early HIV devastation and recently COVID. The City continues to rebound. Before Uber there were jitneys.
I loved that every time they ate said ‘cheers’

If possible you need to visit , Monterey , Carmel , Seaside and Marina , which are all considered the Monterey area. We have some pretty okay local Asian spots , plus it's really beautiful Coast here.

Next time for clam chowder go to pier market for clam chowder or fog harbor (not sure if they let u do take out but try it out its sooo good) boudin uses canned clam chowder not freshly made every day. Fog harbor and pier market at pier 39! They make it fresh (i know because i used to work there)
San Tung had some of the best shrimp dumplings Ive had in my LIFE! 9.6 out of 10!!

SF food trips are the best. We just got back and can’t wait to go back & try a new batch of good eats. The one place we always go is Hoshinoya every trip. That San Tung chicken is sooo good. Saigon Sandwiches the chicken one is 🔥 $5 too😮!! I love sharing food too bc you fit so much more😂. Only way to go 😎

idk how good that calm chowder is but theres this clam showder place that i had thats SUPER SUPER GOod i think its like #1. Its at pismo peach if you ever been there get the clam chowder its SOOO goood one of the best

Where was it they ate in Japantown? I think San Tung is in the inner sunset not japantown. Anyway, I’ve had those crab rolls at fisherman’s wharf and they were absolutely delicious. We bought one to share for like 10 bucks years ago but it was sooo good I told my boyfriend to go get his own lol. Sooo much crab for so little money and it was too delicious
