Fantastic work Joey! Great tips on assembly, paint and weathering. Adding our exterior wall and roof top HVAC details makes your structures "pop"!
You noted the ease in working with these wood kits, and your imagination shows through the variety of duct runs you created... up, over and around!
Well done again Joey, thank you for sharing your work!! Nick@ITLA.

Very nice work. I love ITLA's items, and you do them proud. I especially like your weathering of them. I'm just starting to play with oils and spirits, you certainly have mastered them.

Hey Joey nice job on the detail parts kits. The directions for these kits looks great and easy to understand. ITLA does a real nice job on their kits.

Thank you I have been considering buying some of the ventilation kits for some time. My scratch built versions just didn't look as good.
    Thanks again

This looks fantastic! I have a question. That section of brick building that is bridging over the tracks, is that an ITLA kit too?

Thanks! Yes, it's two of these brick wall panel kits put together (along with some custom 1/8" MDF bracing I built from scratch to mount it to the divider): itlascalemodels.com/collections/modular-brick-wall-panels/products/4-5w-x-5-5-ho-brick-wall-panel-kit-cut-stone-foundation-4-windows

I’m just wondering after you glue the two pieces together do you sand it so that you can get rid of the joint lines?

For the HVAC kits, I like to put the braces over the joint lines so they are hidden. Otherwise, I would try to fill them in with glue/paint to try to minimize seeing them. They're so small, though, that at normal viewing distance most people probably wouldn't even notice as they get lost in the scenery as a whole.
