What is the maximum sensors can you hook up to this device? for example how many photoelectric sensors, is it possible to connect 10 to this device then sent it to a PLC or database?

Thank you for your comment and your interest in our product.
The SIG200 is an IO-Link master with 4 ports. That means you can connect 4x IO-Link, digital input or digital output signals to the SIG200. One device on each port.
In addition you can use a Y-splitter and connect an additional digital input to Pin 2 on each port. That means you can connect up to 8x signals in total to the SIG200 directly (4x IO-Link + 4x DI - or - 8x DI - or - 4x DO + 4x DI).
If you want to connect more I/O signal to one SIG200, than you can use an IO-Link Hub to extend the maximum number of signals.
Our SIG100 is an IO-Link Hub with 6 ports. On each port of the SIG100 you can connect up to 2x DI or DO signals. Therefore the SIG100 has a connection capacity of 12 I/O signals in total. By connecting SIG100 to each port of the SIG200 you can extend the maximum number of connections to 52 I/O signals at the SIG200 (4x 12 I/O signals of SIG100 + 4x DI on each Pin 2 at the SIG200).

@@SICKSensors can you link me to a Y-splitter that would work for photoelectric sensors to the io link?

We have several splitter in the portfolio. Depending on the used sensor, its connector type and current capacity there are different articles available.
For sensors with the typical M12, 4-pole connectors the splitter YM2A15-000S01FY2A4 (article number: 2099600) can be used.

Can standard 4-20mA sensor be directly connected to SIG200? We have UP56-213118 already. Thanks

Dear Kris Chlapek, analog 4-20 mA sensorics can not be directly connected to the SIG200. The SIG200 can handle IO Link, digital input and digital output devices to be directly connected.

@@SICKSensors Hello. Is translator available? I noticed murr and ifm do offer these.

Hello Kris Chlapek, Unfortunately not. We do not offer an analog to IO Link converter.
