We use DeltaV, and Yokogawa centum vp, from my experience Yokogawa the best DCS 👌 , easy to configure and very easy to use by the operators and Engineers...the 3D faceplates are very handy for tuning and troubleshooting
Hi thanks for your great training videos please make video course about yokogawa. I I work in Iran's petrochemical and gas industry Yokogawa dcs system is widely used in Iran's oil and gas and petrochemical industry. Please post a training course on Yokogawa dcs system on the site.
Request you to please make a video on Server-client configuration and their concept in process automation. like Honeywell system is based on server-client configuration whereas Yokogawa system is domain base.
Hi Jannatul. I'm assuming you are asking about PLCs in general. If so, the laptop computing power, memory and operating system requirements aren't really a PLC issue but are determined by the software used to program and communicate with that PLC. For example, if your PLC is one of the ControlLogix family, you need RSL5K or Studio 5000 for programming. Each programming software package will have its own unique requirements that will be provided to potential users. I hope that answers your question.
Hello @hassan19982008. There are a number of methods and procedures for linking PLCs. Unfortunately, too many to discuss here. If you do a google search you'll find several training tutorials for Centum VP Engineering System View.
Thanks for your topic suggestion, I will happily go ahead and pass this on to our course developers for possible future video courses. Thanks for sharing and happy learning!

I worked on both DeltaV and Centum VP. I find DeltaV as a better product and more innovative than CVP. The class based engineering is easier and faster to use, easier to integrate other devices, better diagnostics and easier to build graphics. Centum VP is not a bad product but they can make it more modern and add new features.

I have used both system. I agree with abdul Yokogawa centum VP is the best DCS. Also logic such as LC64 and ST16 are easy to read and configure.
