@@sandythompson5096Me too. I bet he started calling her that earlier. 😊 Maybe if Queen Charlotte gets a season 2, the younger King George III will start calling her Lottie.
@@PrincessQ-qb8lyHe likely did call her that way earlier. The first pages of the book actually explains (on young Chalotte's pov) the meaning of that nickname to her
As someone in the mental health field and also acquainted with mental struggles on a personal level, I feel the way corey and the older king george actor demonstrate atypical behavior is brilliant and so spot on, yet never campy. its very humanistic, which is always refreshing to see in media. i just think the queen charlotte series overall is so excellent
This is like the 100th interview I’ve watched from the 😂💕! I love this cast so much!! Shonda never fails to impress and the casting director NEEDS A RAISE LIKE ASAP.
Okay, Arsema and Adjoa... Their similarity is shocking. In fact, I would be shocked if the younger Adjoa DIDN'T look like Arsema now. How these casting directors find actors with such commonalities and also each with so much talent, I have no idea. Props to them
@@pinkparis wow. Same scene, but different takes. I find that scene to be the most beautiful showcase of love throughout the bridgerton cinematic universe! I cry over how touched I am by their connection to one another
I didn’t think anyone can top Regé-Jean and Phoebe in Bridgerton but Corey and India are exquisite and you can immediately feel the warmth and sizzling chemistry. And, what India has done to bring out the fearless, fierce and confident young Queen Charlotte is brilliant. I absolutely love how we are part of the journey to Golda’s badass Queen Charlotte👑👑👑 Well done Shonda and Tom!!
Corey's face under the bed looking back at Golda is so expressive, it's such a quick take but you almost feel as a viewer you are reliving their life's journey together in that split second when he says "thank you"! It makes me emotional just watching it back again 😢💔 Give him the Emmy! ⭐
This is definitely my favorite Bridgerton series. I'm biased since Queen Charlotte is my favorite character. Her presence in the room is so domineering and intimidating - also, I like how she's got that strong character which we don't really see back then in period films and tv shows. Also, fell in love with her story with King George. That last scene just made me cry. So amazed by how a story can have that an amazing effect on people/
The only thing that caught me off guard in _QC_ was how much younger Violet appeared to be, because in _Bridgerton_ she, the Queen, and Lady Danbury all seemed to be in the same age group.
Well charlotte is meant to be 17, and i would guess violent is meant to be maybe 12ish? Seems like a bit age gap at that age but in adulthood that gap is not as severe
When queen Charlotte and King George are under the bed and see each other as when they where young ... its really a heartbreaking moment made me soo sad and happy at the same time .. perfectly done!! Bravo
I agree, it was beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. To me, the Queen Charlotte series had a lot more depth to it than the other Bridgerton series (I still enjoy them all, though 😃)
Y’all outdid yourselves! I was so moved with this series already but Queen Charlotte really touched me. Black women in the foreground of such a heartwarming story. In absolute love 🤎
End racist black supremacy! Queen Charlotte was not a black woman! This is highly offensive to her legacy. And she did not have a huge afro! Will black supremacists really not sink any further? First Anne Boleyn now Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz?! Disgraceful!
I pray we continue to see the younger versions in flashbacks in the upcoming seasons OR somehow, someway another season of the Queen. I don't know what they would add to it but oh my goodness that was some real good stuff! The bed scene is so magical. This was the ultimate love story. This is what relationship goals amount to. It's not the pretty highlight reel you see on social media. It's all that stuff behind closed doors that stays behind closed doors. Casting was amazing! India and Golda, Arsema and Adjoa are like mother/daughter, big sister/little sister, auntie/niece. 💜

Queen Charlotte was so beautifully done, it is my favourite of all the series. Seeing the history of the matriarchs of this society is heart wrenching.
1:34 i think this is the high ten that corey said before in one of the interview about steamy scenes. they did it after shoot something intimate. maybe this is after they kiss on the wedding day.

I do not remember that and I watched all of their interviews. Now this is the sign for me to watch them again 😂
I'm in love with this show, I watched it back to back. Then Bridgerton again, because then there's a whole new light on it. Then Queen Charlotte again.. I cannot wait on what is coming next. It's so wonderfully done!
Golda - such a real for real person! Amazing to hear she is giving freely to India A. - no gatekeeping! Generosity, fantasticallly cheeky and brilliant = Golda!
I just need these vids on a constant stream. That's how I'm surviving having watched this show. The cast is now my healthy obsession and I ain't ashamed of it 😁🤣😍🥵🥰 I love each and every one of the main characters🥰 Excellent casting 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I would love to see an “On Set With’ the Supporting Actors. It’s always nice to hear from these actors and get their reactions. They bring incredible nuance to a scene. ✨
I have commented to death about this story every where on the Net, lol. How stellar, flawless, seamless, incarnated, charismatic the performances are plus the directing, editing, music, lighting, costuming etc.. Lest we forget none of it would come to life so vibrantly, leaving an imperishable mark on our memories, were it not for the absolutely beautiful, theatrical, RHYTHM of Shonda Rhymes writing which is a bliss to deliver for an actor. Truly verb turned flesh with the breath of authenticity, the breath of life.
I love this whole thing, but the realest moment at the end - Golda saying “where do I go now?” 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾☀️😂🤣😅 I feel you sis. I know she’s the same age and stage as me and I LOVE IT.
This is one of the BEST casting I have ever seen😭😭😭😭😭😭... They aren't forcing to please the crowd, you can tell they put effort into making sure everyone fits in perfectly
Loved getting their behind the scenes take on this wonderful show. India looked tired in that final scene. Enjoy the success and get some well earned rest. ✨
I loved the authenticity of the series, I really wish there was more. I will certainly be rewatching and enjoying it all again. That last scene was everything with the past meeting the present meeting the future back into the past. Oh man, my heart.❤
The final scene under the bed made me truly cry. Such a wonderful story and beautifully perfomed. I personally I found it much better than Bridgerton. More please!

i loved this show, if i could go back an experience the way i felt watching it for a second time i would. It was amazing, well thought out, and we need another love story like this in bridgerton that comes with all the feels 🥺❤️
I rewatched the two Bridgerton seasons again after Queen Charlotte and I kept trying to see India in Golda, Ashema in Adjoa, etc etc😂😂 it was so frustrating
3pm dean wms I’ve watched both shows I’m so in love with OC what a touching love story beautiful. I haven’t seen such a mesmerizing love between anyone as charlotte and George. I’ve been watching this story over and over just for the spectacular scenes with C andKing G awesome to me
The most jarring part of this is seeing Golda in costume laughing and smiling and being kind. It seems like the nicest actors always get the rudest characters lol
It's so trippy seeing Golda and India in costume and sitting together, it really is like seeing the past and future of one person.
Totally ❤ love them both
They did an amazing job with casting.
FOR A MINUTE I THOUGHT THEY WERE THE SAME PERSON
idk why but they have the same energy and they are the spitting image of each other
I never really thought that Sam and Hugh were that similar but that frame at 2:18 when theyre both laughing had me SHOOK
It’s uncanny
I totally agree, they got the casting soooooo right! Both in character and now we realise in look too
YESSS i thought the same
Ikr!!!
Same.
LITERALLY WATCHED EVERY SINGLE INTERVIEW....such a waste to only have 6 episodes with a perfect cast like this!
I agree. It was my favorite season!
Exactly!
This series far bypassed bridgerton.. It's so rich with serious issues.. I really enjoyed this series. ❤
FOR REAL
ME TOO
Its been a year ಥ_ಥ
There is going to be a season 2
Can we applaud James Fleet? He’s not on screen often but when he is, it’s powerful. He portrays so much love in so few moments.
Love how the older King (James Fleet) refers to his wife as "Lotte".💞

Seriously that scene under the bed is one of the best scenes EVER !
That scene brought me to tears.

It's crazy how much the actors look alike. The casting directors deserve Emmys, raises, etc
India and Golda made magic together and it’s really moving to see them put so much love into telling Queen Charlottes story so beautifully
I need more commentary from James Fleet! I wish he were on more panels.
I also love how arsema described the friendship of qc and lady danbury 😍
