In the real game SCP Containment Breach, if you disable the warheads and went to gate B, they will try to detonate it but it doesn't activate for "unkown reasons" and the Intercom tells the MTF helicopters to go back and recapture 682 which means the MTF was leaving once the warhead was on.
Just be glad it wasn't Imperial Guard. They'd send more men. And we all know the Krieg would go first just for a chance to bayonet 682, as unlikely as it would be.
