These waterfalls, I’ve seen a million times They wash away the world that I see, and cover up my mind And I can push the walls away until they’re out of sight and mind But I’m not strong enough to stand alone here in this tide I don’t want to, I’m not trying I wish it would just go away And then I see red, I see red, I see red, I see red These situations make me feel so cold It’s like I’ve been replaced by someone I don’t know And I can say the words until I’ve said all I can say But without you I’m a fraction of who I’m supposed to be Breathe me in and take me under Crack these walls and let’s start again And then I see red, I see red, I see red, I see red I see red, I see red, I see red, I see red We can run, we can hide But we can’t live without it It’s the same in us, it takes the flame in us And we can love, we can hate, we can’t live without it We're not alone, there’s more to this We can run, we can hide But we can't live without it It's the same in us, it takes the flame in us And we can love, we can hate, we can't live without it We're not alone, there's more to this There’s nothin’ left but the sound of my heart There’s nothin’ left but the strings on this guitar Take it all, take the hurt and heartache, help me start again There's nothin' left but the sound of my heart There's nothin' left but the strings on this guitar Take it all, take the hurt and heartache, help me start again And we can run, we can hide But we can’t live without it It’s the same in us, it takes the flame in us And we can love, we can hate, we can’t live without it We're not alone, there’s more to this And we can run, we can hide But we can't live without it It's the same in us, it takes the flame in us And we can love, we can hate, we can't live without it We're not alone, there's more to this
Paula; you took the time, so cool; I was just listening while occupied but for some reason, , had to *see* the lyrics; not the version i know.. I hit comments to find this cuz a little voice said to.. All that In a split second lol. and it said looky here.. Lol. Now I gotta listen again and pay attention. I need some adjustment or healing today..always.. Its important to know who the artist "is' when hearing their songs.. Somedays it goes pretty deep..and is needed in heart there..thanks for doing this, iac..
I get that the first half and second are almost completely different, but that's what attracts me. It's a nice change. Not every song needs the same pattern: chorus, bridge then finale like every other single song out there. It's got a pleasant melody and beautiful lyrics, and TFK wanted this to be something different. As their fans, we should appreciate that.
There's nothing left, but the sound of my heart There's nothing left, but the strings on this guitar Take it all, take the hurt and heartache Help me start again!!!
The second half is almost like a totally different song. I wish the first half would carry on longer. Regardless, it's still one of my favorites on the album.
Ya!!!! I don’t like the chorus they added at 1:45 The beginning is AMAZING and the catchiest part is at 30 seconds when he says “I” 3 or 4 times THAT should have been the chorus!!!
Why is everyone complaining about the second half? Both parts are beautiful and it matches the whole song quite well with the message it's trying to put. The reason why they're so different is because it's portraying two different emotions. The first half is wanting to give up since you're all alone and the second half is seeing that there are others like you and you shouldn't give up and you should give yourself a second chance. That's how I see it anyway.
We are in agreement! Hallelujah and FINALLY there is a band, TFK, who has the faith, courage and confidence to go after the world for the Kingdom of God!
I feel like I’m the only person that just really loves this album. Each album has a different flavor of some sort and I adore heavy rock most of all, but I just really love the different, more mellow style of this song. I hope to learn to sing/play it someday.
Am I the only one noticing that each of their more mellowish songs seem to have a great layout for a more heavy song? I constantly hear the songs starting to pick up but then they just seem to drop back into what they were doing before. With that said I still really liked the album and its mellowy-ness.
When the song started I wasn't sure as it felt a little weak, but when it got to, "we can run, we can hide, we can't live without it...", it grabbed me and didn't let go!!! AWESOME!!!
Jack Ripper The one anime where I rooted for the wincest ending for kicks and actually got it. In all seriousness though, incest is the act of having sexual relations with someone biologically related to you, or in some places, has an affinity (law) with you. Having feelings for each other isn't incest, nor is sharing a simple kiss.
0:00 - 1:40 best part of the song. Should of kept 'I See Red' as the chorus and kept the song deep. "We can run, we can hide" just didn't fit the feel of this song
Of the softer songs on this album, I think this is the best. I had to listen to it a few times to decided if I really liked it but now I am hooked. I suppose I will give my opinion of the entire album. Its awesome hearing your range Trevor, I just think it will be difficult for you to hit all of these notes live. I do think it is cool that you've tried some different things; every song cannot be a "heavy" song as much as I love the hard rock. Some of the melodies do not seem to match this band's talent. It is a great album, and is probably the most blatantly "Christian" album that you've made which is great. This is not your best work, but it is still good. Keep making music as long as the Lord allows.
This sing is by far the best on the album it has a great meaning and it's a different sound but it has that emotion catching effect that makes me never get tired of this song and his voice sounds really great in this song
My favourite of this album. I thought that any album will be better in my opinion than "The flame in all of us" or "The end is where we begin", but it's great. Bless from Poland, good job!
In Valdosta Georgia, Los Angeles and New York I used this on every adventure. I have used this in so many ways and avenues. I have always been his fan since past life!

The way I see it, is this is OXYGEN : INHALE. So I feel like it is appropriate to have more laid back songs on the album. Now all they got to do is make an OXYGEN : EXHALE and fill THAT album with the heavier stuff a lot of us like!

2024 and this is still a goated song, much love to tfk!
These waterfalls, I’ve seen a million times
They wash away the world that I see, and cover up my mind
And I can push the walls away until they’re out of sight and mind

And then I see red, I see red, I see red, I see red
I see red, I see red, I see red, I see red
We can run, we can hide

the amazing production of this album is the icing on this masterpiece.
There's nothing left, but the sound of my heart

Take it all, take the hurt and heartache
Help me start again!!!
so fire
The second half is almost like a totally different song. I wish the first half would carry on longer. Regardless, it's still one of my favorites on the album.
That's a style of song that the Band does, they have more like it.
It is intentionally that way, because the first part it's a reflection and the second one the application of that reflection.
@@waldomironeto4495 ye but the second half still sucks in comparison to the first
Honestly the shift isn't all that noticeable and I kind of like how it gets a bit more intense and then softens up again. Just my opinion though
Ya!!!! I don’t like the chorus they added at 1:45

You could also try some SKILLET songs. They’re the best American Christian rock band 🤩

this and welcome to the maskraed are the best
Ahhhh, reminds me of their older stuff! Love how they incorporate elements of all their previous albums into one awesome song!
Hey)
(THERES NOTHING LEFT BUT THE SOUND OF MY HEART NTERES NOTHING LEFT BUT THE STINGS ON THIS GUITAR) best part of the song
A lot of people says they don't like the 2nd half of song. But I actually enjoy it a lot. This is my favorite song by tfk!
The first part of the song until 1:41 is my favourite. I basically change the song after that.
The title of the album is really fitting. It's certainly not tfk's most original work, but it's light and feels pleasantly familiar.
Am I the only one noticing that each of their more mellowish songs seem to have a great layout for a more heavy song? I constantly hear the songs starting to pick up but then they just seem to drop back into what they were doing before.
With that said I still really liked the album and its mellowy-ness.
This! I was expecting especially that song would pick up and become heavier like any moment. But that did not really happen, to my disappointment. :/
daBak93 exhale will be heavier. More rock throughout
Steven Turner I hope so! :)
i cant stop listening to this music its perfect for real 🔥💪🤍
When the song started I wasn't sure as it felt a little weak, but when it got to, "we can run, we can hide, we can't live without it...", it grabbed me and didn't let go!!! AWESOME!!!
