I Like The Jackal its a good Underrated thriller it's not my favorite Bruce Willis film but it's a good thriller & he did a great job as the bad guy Richard Gere did a Great Job too

Same with SuperPredators by Massive Attack the version in the opening credits of The Jackal has been juiced up for intensity which I like much better then the version on the Album.

And yet, I had NO IDEA that Dissolved Girl was buried in the end credit song for The Jackal ALMOST SIX MONTHS BEFORE Mezzanine came out. Talk about lost ghosts from my childhood predicting the future hey? Haha! (I saw this film in theaters) I always keep coming back to The Jackal because I love the obvious trip hop music so much (this movie shares a lot in common with the other 1997 spy movie The Saint in that they both have great trip hop soundtracks) and yet here I am just discovering now that THAT WAS Massive Attack doing the main Jackal theme with Carter Burwell. Composing a song that would end up later on my #1 favorite album in existence! What a gem this song and this movie both are!

Good movie, but prefer the Day of the Jackal with Edward Fox. Something about Edward Fox makes it better. Probably because he is the most unlikely actor to play the role, he isn't known as a tough guy actor like Bruce Willis, but that's what makes him perfect for it.
Does the music repeating throughout the movie remind anyone else of Operation Flashpoint? I cannot shake the feeling that game has a very similar part in it's soundtrack :s
