Mice cannot survive in the wild after having been hand-raised by a human. They need to learn from their mother how to, and what to forage for. This woman went through many weeks of feeding them around the clock only to guarantee their deaths the day she "set them free'. She meant well, but she doesn't have sufficient knowledge, nor did she have the proper urge to seek out correct information.

I raised a deer mouse from babyhood once, my little zoomy boy, the sweetest little mouse I've ever met, he loved corndogs, sleeping on my wrist under a knitted sweater sleeve, and gentle head rubs. Unfortunately he didn't live long, only a few months... He was born deformed slightly and didn't grow proper, it looked like dwarfism but I'm sure there were other issues, his body never grew large enough to support his head and so I was never able to stop hand feeding and watering him, it was a hassle but I loved the little baby. I wish he lived longer

They still would have the instincts to know to run from danger and still have the instincts to eat plants. Most mice end up being too, since they are really low on the food chain. Also, you can't assume what preparations this person made to prepare the mice for the wild, all you get are some cute video clips. Less than five minutes of footage for over a month. Assuming that they weren't taught to survive in the wild is, simply put, ignorant.
