Claire is a sweet, articulate mother during the telling this beautiful story that sadly ends with the loss of her Paulie. Even though she has an aversion to hospitals, they are better equipped for emergencies unlike a birthing center, including operating rooms for c-sections, code carts and a code team, and a blood bank (for Claire, is she needed transfusions for excessive bleeding). Paulie was past-term baby, a heavier weight can be expected, and she had shoulder dystocia resulting in a difficult vaginal birth. This was a terrible, emotional and physical trauma. Peace be with Claire, Kevin, Donnie and Paulie.
Claire, Kevin, and Big Brother Donny. Thank you for sharing your precious Daughter Paulie Fiona with us. As Winter said, it is a privilege to cry with you. May the sky's be forever pink in memory of your beautiful Daughter 🩷

Mu heart goes out to this beautiful women who loved every moment of being pregnant, a women who wanted to savory every moment of labor. Claire and her husband loved their son and were so happy to welcome a new baby. I like the idea of not knowing what sex the baby is now a days they are having gender reveal parties and everyone knows what sec the baby is. Claire enjoyed the keep her pregnancy a mystery which makes having a baby a real joy in not knowing. I'm so sorry for your loss. Only 3 months ago they really are still grieving. I understand the whole mid wife and keeping your as natural as possible and now days in a lot of hospitals they have birthing rooms with all the things needed to keep a babies birth as it would be in a birthing room with access to operating rooms right there if complications rear its ugly head. My first born I didn't know the sex and that was great I was a week passed my due date and thought I would never have my baby but I new she had to come out. I waited to go to the hospital as long as I could so we went in and as they were checking me my baby was breech and they sent me for test to see if I could safely deliver a breech baby and I was. As I was having a contraction and with that my water broke and they checked me and thank God I was in the hospital cause the next thing I know was I was having an emergency C section cause the cord was prolapsed and any pressure could have could have cut have her oxygen.. Thank God my baby was ok I could have lost her. So I'm so sorry for your loss cause I know how deeply your pain goes, Thank you for sharing and I hope you and your family only the best. God bless you and your little one
Only 3months ago 😢I’m so sorry. This is so recent & raw, vulnerable and heart wrenching. Wishing you so much healing & comfort in your grief. Your baby is absolutely beautiful. 😢
Oh dear...I know that feeling, replaying every single moment in your mind over and over again. Paulie is so loved, and cherished. I am so sorry for you loss. Seeing additions to this club always hurts me deeply.
Clair, Kevin, and big brother Donnie- my heart hurts for you, may Jesus heal your heart from such a huge hurt, and lose. Paulie will always be in your heart and a guardian angel for you three. I too lost a daughter Molleigh Christen on 12/18 the hurt is one that never goes away, I miss her every moment of every day and I think of her daily. I feel her in the wind, smell her in the flowers ,see her in the rainbows and rain, She will forever be my4 th child and I will always miss her and everything that we missed together, all the 1sts, holidays and time together.I can’t wait for the moment we are reunited together again. I celebrate the time I had with her instead of the time missed with her , that way I can function in life
My heart hurts for these parents. God Bless You.
