The art of making Gotham Knights look cool... Part 3.
Gotham Knights is an action role-playing game developed by WB Games Montréal and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Inspired by the Batman: Gotham Knights comic series based on the DC Comics character Batman and his supporting cast, the game focuses on the characters Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood as they attempt to restore justice to Gotham City during a period of decline in the immediate aftermath of Batman's death. While investigating the events that led to their mentor's demise, the heroes become embroiled in an ancient conflict between two secret organizations fighting for control of Gotham: the Court of Owls and the League of Shadows.

When he created and programmed it, he implemented Cloaking tech to hide it from his enemies and random civilians when he’s not using it. Outside, he programmed auto-flight to follow him wherever he goes…

This game is absolutely gorgeous. And the combat is the smoothest I’ve ever played in a superhero game. Such a shame that it’s not getting the appreciation it deserves.
I don't hate the game, but the reason a lot of people don't like it is because of another game that came out 7 years ago that had much smoother combat and looked 10x better... cough cougharkhamknightcough cough
@@flynnholm6001 lol if you play the game’s back to back you’ll see that Arkham doesn’t even look close to better. What’s happening here is when Arkham knight came out there were no games on the market with graphics like that. Now Gotham Knights comes out with better graphics than Arkham knight but every game is now so it doesn’t stand out. Also the Arkham combat isn’t smother. It’s easier. It’s a button mash. Gotham knights requires more skill to pull off smooth and awesome animations. Once you understand and master the system you’ll see it’s much better.
@@jbstudios3000 the graphics in arkham knight are objectively better. You can watch comparison videos, every one realises it. Also combat is smoother is arkham, it free flow... much more variation, each move flows from the other to build up your combo. Gotham knights has a good combat system imo, but to say it us smoother than arkham knight is just untrue. In gotham knights, it's just attack, run around, dodge, special move when you can. Stealth is lackluster, it's a hard stretch to say it's better than asylums stealth. You're entitled to your opinion, but the game is outdone in almost every regard by something older, and most people agree.
@@flynnholm6001 I’ve seen those comparison videos, and I know exactly what the people are doing, their heavily applying contrast and saturation to Arkham and leaving almost no effects on Gotham Knights I am an animator, and I know exactly how they are operating. The textures and Gotham nights are much better. The overall presentation and Gotham knights is much better. It literally is based on nostalgia. Arkham knight was groundbreaking when it came out. Gotham knights is not groundbreaking now, but it’s been seven years, so nothing is groundbreaking now. And Gotham nights is designed to be as smooth as you want it to be you have to utilize the proper gear and play with the right patterns in order to make it. Smooth. Arkham knight is a button mash. It’s very easy and anyone can play it I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. I love the Arkham combat. I’ve been planning it since I was a kid, but no objectively nothing about Arkham is better. If we’re gonna talk logistics, Gotham knights is better in just about every single way. If we’re talking opinion, some people may prefer Arkham and that’s perfectly fine.
@@flynnholm6001 playing them back to back shows that yes Arkham has better particles and and motion blur but the anti aliasing is horrible and it looks too blurry and pixelated and nothing looks sharp or clean without mods or optimisation , Gotham knights just looks like a pretty decent game with good effects and lighting with good crisp resolution
The knighthood suit and shinobi suit look great on both nightwing and robin.

Think this one’s not the highest. The diff I noticed back then was just the health and damage numbers but not stealth.
