    Pro Tip: Tell it to write a script to create the folders and files that fit best practices for a chrome extension.
    This will save you SO MUCH MORE TIME!

    I also did this last week. Thanks for making a video about it to help others. I had almost no JavaScript or HTML coding experience and yet just like you I was able to do the whole thing in the Claude artifacts window and it worked the first time. Very impressive.

      I just spent the weekend creating a custom Divi module to be used with WP, ACF and WooCommerce. Claude managed this quite well, but you need to steer Claude in the right direction from time to time and keep close attention to its code output. Several times it forgot parts of code that it had suggested earlier, so I ended up regulary uploading the current php and jsx files. Certainly not something a person without coding experience can do, but with my limited knowledge of PHP and the Divi Extension framework, I managed to get the job done. I hit the PRO usage limits several times whilst making the module, so that's a bit of a concern.

      @Nico_AIRanking  3 месяца назад +1

      @@arjan_speelman I would recommend using the PROJECTS feature for something like this. It will allow you to add things that you build as source files to the custom knowledge base for the projects. That way it can reference items that it has built in the past in its knowledge base instead of remembering it in the conversation

    so cool that all the people who couldn't code before, didn't have to learn any skills and can understand the magic of what it's like to be able to make something out of thin air. Is it fair to those who spent years crafting that skill? Not sure...

      @@Nico_AIRankingI'm not so sure it is happening actually. I want to see how they justify shutting down the audio AI services like udio who is getting sued by big music , and will almost certainly lose but then say it's ok for LLMs to use people's code as faire use to train their models and take their work. You may not have paid to have this particular thing built for you if you had to, but if you wanted it badly enough to pay someone to build it, well whoever that person might have been has lost that income now. The argument against music based AI even if using copyright materials to train is fair use, will be that it's competing now with the market, which is exactly now what this is doing. If the music record labels win, it will be interesting to see what happens.

    • @avi7278
      @avi7278 3 месяца назад

      @@Nico_AIRanking And to be clear I'm pro AI. As a developer, I would like you to be able to create whatever you want, application WordPress plugin, Chrome extension, whatever... Just as I'd like to be able to create whatever music I want. But if it's different rules for different markets then that's obviously extremely unfair.

    The problem I’m finding with Claude AI (paid version) is that I only get up to an hour of ‘coding time’, then I have to wait for a few hours. I’m not ‘hammering’ it; just asking questions, trying code, asking again, etc. another problem is that it can’t access the web, so you can’t point it to a page of documentation; you have to paste all the info into a prompt.
    I never hit a limit with ChatGPT 4o (paid version). I think Claude AI is more practical for coding because of the way you can create projects and access artefacts, but the usage limits are too low and not worth the money for me. With good prompting, ChatGPT is still excellent at coding and, in my experience provides unlimited access.

    • @Nico_AIRanking
