I lived in Buenos Aires Argentina for nearly 10 years. I was last in Buenos Aires Argentina in March 2020. I lived in Recoleta neighborhood for a time and yes Recoleta was awesome 👌. It reminded me of the Eastside of New York City. But it was still very affordable you can find a furnished apartment for around 1000 dollars US 🇺🇸 😉 a month. For long stays you can find unfurnished apartments for around 500 to 700 dollars US. I stayed in a very nice hotel 🏨 in Recoleta for a 1000 dollars a month including breakfast and daily maid service. But check out the Congreso neighborhood especially the Aviva De Mayo.

@@sylvester1894 It was called Libertad Apartments. It was located at the corner of Juncal and Liberad in Recoleta. I forgot to mention it also had a kitchenette for cooking 🍳. And the staff was awesome. I hope this will be useful for you, also the neighborhood has everything that you will need within walking distance. Good luck 👍.

Thank you so much for this series. We are considering coming down there and maybe settling in there for a while. How about a segment on cultural, music and artistic things to do there? I read there are 300 movie theaters in BA. How many are in English and do they present world cinema?

I note your comments Melissa but also many from the tripadvisor website, commenting often that Recoleta has gone downhill rather..

Even though your audience is English speaking, since you guys have been living in Arg for several years already, it would be nice you show off your Spanish speaking level (which it shouldn't be bad I suppose). Muy buenos videos. Felicitaciones.
