    I'm going to make an automatic drawer.
    Before that, I made an air cylinder that could open and close drawers.
    I always use a compressor in my workshop, so it's convenient to use air.
    It's also more comfortable than driving with a motor.
    The unit controls a total of 12 cylinders with a solenoid, with a manual switch and a 12ch remote controller to open and close drawers wirelessly.
    Air blocks were used to reduce the use of nipple.
    I had a long dream about automatic drawers.
    I think it would be nice to open and close the drawer with remote control or switch if necessary. The response to this idea is divided into two parts.
    1. You can open it with your hands, is it necessary?
    2. That's a great idea. I need to apply it anywhere.
    There's something I really want to tell the first style of people.
    Do you know how much it cost humans to land on the moon?
    It wasn't a matter of cost.
    Not only was it an opportunity for technology to advance and leap forward, but also the sum of the human expectations that aspired to it was much greater than the cost.
    It's a leap forward, but the automatic drawer I made,
    I think it plays a big role just to inspire and be willing to enjoy our DIYs.
    For more convenient use, each drawer has its own switch. In addition, since the four drawers have to be moved individually, connectors are installed for each drawers so that they can be connected to the main drawers.
    The drawer was arranged with a partition to accommodate the most materials. This is the birth of automatic drawers using pneumatic cylinders, which will appear in many videos in the future. I think it will be an interesting experience if you try this yourself. Thank you.

    I love these, ive been buying used festo valves, fittings pistons for years from ebay, every chance i get i tinker, i just made a pneumatic clamp down for my felder panel saw, some clamps for my blum hinge press and currently working on an automated dust boot for my diy cnc machine. Your videos inspire me to do more! Keep them coming, amazing work!

      Are you a professional with a nice workshop? I watched your video and it looks like you have a lot of cool stuff, including all the tools you need, a rotating workbench, a CNC suction table for sanding, etc. I'm sure you've upgraded your workshop since then, and I think we'd all have learned a lot if you'd continued to make videos. I feel a sense of camaraderie with you because you have similar thoughts, and I would like to express my gratitude.
      one more. Your nickname is so cool!

      I run a small factory. While working for about 15 years, I collected tools and parts while doing the work needed for the factory. I am also an inventor who holds over 10 patents. Still, I enjoy creating something new. I am very happy that my little experience and know-how can be a small hint for the work of viewers. I am deeply grateful to those who join me on this journey into the world of DIY.

    Pretty cool project, but does it actually serve a specific purpose to make them automatic or is it just for the cool factor and it being possible? ❤

    • @Kynosys_
      @Kynosys_  5 месяцев назад +1

      That's a good question. I am very interested in automation. In the long term, my goal is to automate many things in my workshop. For this, many things are needed, such as welding, electricity, solenoids, stepper motors, electronic control, pneumatic cylinder parts, and woodworking. The process of learning all of these things is so enjoyable. I would be happier if someone could get a small hint through my work. Please watch me grow. thank you!

    It looks very nice, but I am wondering what is the reason behind making all of this automation?

    • @Kynosys_
      @Kynosys_  5 месяцев назад +1

      Actually, I feel like an adult child. I live with the fairy tales and fond memories of my childhood as treasures. As written in the thumbnail, I just wanted to make a chest of drawers that would open when I told it to open. I would be happier if there were people who could get a little hint from my work. It just is.

    What an insane waste of space in that cabinet both behind and below those drawers. To me that is worse than the rediculous costs of the build.

      Do you know how much NASA spent to put a man on the moon in 1969?
      Thanks to reducing the budget for aerospace, saying that the cost was not enough, the United States now relies on Russia's power to launch spacecraft. Seen as a simple challenge, almost all DIY works cannot surpass the price and efficiency of ready-made products.
      Please don't discourage people from continuing to try new things. Even the cost and wasted space are mine.
      If you don't like that waste, there are ample opportunities not to make it.
      Anyway, thank you!

      @@Kynosys_ SpaceX (which by the way is a US company) launches a rocket at least once a week, including bringing people to the ISS. They do this by not wasting anything, not money, not time, not resources and not space. The way NASA did things in the past are exactly that - a thing of the past.

    • @Kynosys_
      @Kynosys_  5 месяцев назад +3

      Did they go to Mars? The space policy that is deceiving the public is almost a religion. The period of technological advancement in which other technologies could be obtained as bonuses has passed, so your use of a political space event as an analogy goes beyond the logic of what I am talking about. Rather, it is exactly what NASA has been doing that has had many additional benefits. It's similar to what I'm pursuing.

      You’d think at your age someone would’ve taught you “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”
      The fact that you cannot see the ingenuity behind this build is insane.
