Well Done Frank. You explained your tear down very well.
Definitely one of the better pump videos I've seen.
That pump was very clean compared to most other than the rubber bits.
That ole boy in ID had his hands full with that gummed up mess he had.
But that's the result of today's fuel when it Sits for a long time.
For sure if you get stumped I'm sure he will be up for a Road Trip!
I'm sure you have this handled.

Thanks! The tear down is the easy part 😂 the hard part is the build. Jefferson is a great resource for sure.

Looks like the same pump as the 580 but turns the other direction. Good video.

Jeff had that same issue on his fuel injector and solved it the same way. Great minds.

I enjoy watching your videos. You are very creative. On your TD8 dresser do you remember the blade lift cylinders seal kit number? I have the same dozer and need to replace both hydraulic seals. Have a great day

Where do you find the new gaskets and stuff? I’ve tried to find a rebuild kit and can’t track one down.

Have you repaired pumps on the Case ?
Try adding motor oil to your fuel. . . We have added used oil to reduce the overall cost. They make additives specific for that but last I looked it was $350-$400 for 5 gallons. It's also lubricant for injectors

I have done some small repairs on my 930 pump, but yes they are big money to fix. So far I have not seen any major problems with the Bosch inline pumps.

I have a 930 also but no problems yet either. Had it since 1986.

Definitely the rubber shock ring is gone which would affect your timing, the rubber from the ring will plug the return elbow. The new ring is neoprene so it doesn’t deteriorate as quickly over the years

Yes! If you watch some of my previous videos you will see that you have nailed the problem. Thanks for watching
