make the CHOICE to keep GOING

- This video is not going to help you.
No video, book, or motivational speech can do the work for you.
At some point, you have to realize: no one is coming to save you. Life keeps moving-with or without you.
🔹 (00:01) The Hard Truth - A brutal lesson at a casino taught me that in life, you're on your own. No one will pick you up. No one will rescue you. It’s all on you.
🔹 (01:58) The Trap of Waiting - Are you waiting for the "right time"? The perfect moment? It never comes. Life doesn’t wait-why should you?
🔹 (02:30) The Illusion of Help - Good people exist, but they can’t climb your mountain for you. Encouragement isn’t action. You have to do the work.
🔹 (03:36) Time is Running Out - Every day you wait, your choices shrink. Doors close. Life moves on. Are you moving with it?
🔹 (04:09) The 3 Things That Matter - If you want to count on yourself, take care of:
1️⃣ Your Mind - Read. Learn. Challenge yourself.
2️⃣ Your Body - Move. Fuel it right. Stay strong.
3️⃣ Your Soul - Seek meaning. Build relationships. Chase purpose.
🔹 (05:23) The Two Wolves Inside You - One is fear, doubt, laziness. The other is discipline, courage, action. Which one wins? The one you feed.
So, here’s the question: Are you in, or are you out?
👇 Comment below-what’s one thing you’ve been putting off?
Just to clarify-I’m not a casino goer. The story at the beginning was about my first time ever in a casino when I was younger. I played with just £40, lost it all, and learned a lesson that stuck with me ever since.
That moment taught me something brutal but true: no one is coming to save you.
Life keeps moving, and if you don’t move with it, you get left behind. The choice is always yours-buy in, or walk away.
So, what’s one thing you’ve been putting off?
Good advice. It gets lonely when you realise that you are on your own but all you can do is keep pushing yourself forward, making sure to keep making good decisions.
Yeah, that realization can be heavy, but pushing forward is all we can do. As long as you keep making good choices, you’re never truly stuck.
Great points.
You're a very gifted and effective communicator. Keep it up.
Thanks.
Really appreciate that. Just trying to speak on things that matter. Thanks for watching!
Thank you - your videos say so much and contain so much wisdom. You are an inspiration!
'sink or swim' . 'You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink' If you don't take care of yourself, no one can take care of you..
Spot on!
The truth. Such wise words. 🙏🏻👊🏻❤
There is another wise expression: "If you want to help a hungry person, don't give him a fish, give him a fishing rod". The problem is that it's easier to sit and moan doing nothing but expecting a fish (from a relative, friend, from health professional, or from a government) instead of making an effort to do something. Some people are actually getting angry with you if you offer them a fishing rod, instead of giving them a fish. Of course, there are people who need help and can't live without help. People with disabilities, people who are in exceptional traumatic situations...
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
"Make the choice to keep going"...... very wise words (could have been a good title!).
Applies in all sorts of ways - as you rightly say, if you wait too long, options open to you 'now' will disappear.
(From one who's good at waiting and pondering!).
I like it! Gonna use it now to switch it up a bit :)
@ nice 👌 one :)
@ sounds more positive and packs a punch. You said it….. :)
Thank you. I'm glad to see that you are getting more subscribers. I remember the phrase "you come into this world alone and you go out of it alone," quite a sobering thought. As I get older, I find it harder to find purpose in life and so hard to motivate myself to maybe take on a new venture. I can hardly be bothered with the day to day routine. I worry constantly about what's happening to the UK and wonder just how much more we can take.
Appreciate you being here. That phrase is sobering, but the in-between still matters. Purpose doesn’t have to be big-sometimes, it’s just finding small things that make the day feel worth it.

Thank you for your encouragement, I will give the small things a go.❤😊
Wise words.
That wolves analogy was excellent. 😊
Thank you ☺️ it’s an old but gold
In truth, everyone is taking care of themselves and their own family as best they can. Learn to take care of yourself. Show kindness and courtesy to others and you can start by not becoming a burden.
Well said. Taking care of yourself isn’t just for you-it makes life easier for everyone around you. Kindness starts with responsibility.
Favourite quote from the Shawshank Redemption is “Get busy living or get busy dying.”
that movie is class
Great video. If you dont choose where to be someone else is going to make that decision for you.
Just found your channel and listened to a few uploads. Great listening.
Great listening to life anecdotes and experience.
You talk eloquently.
Great reminder! Hope you keep making more videos about this kinda stuff that people don’t talk much about.
I’ve met many people who either really want to help others or want others to help them. Of course they tend to pair up. I’m in the first category. I learned the hard way that there’s a fine line between helping and enabling; ultimately people have to be able to help themselves. People who depend on something external often have unhealed childhood trauma.
This also explains addiction - a dependence on something external. Our capitalist world is the perfect place for companies to exploit these people - smartphones, vapes, Black Friday, gambling, alcohol etc. Meanwhile mushrooms that have been used medicinally for thousands of years, which can help people to overcome their addictions, are illegal.
Our society is designed to keep people stuck because that enables certain people to become billionaires. People can only truly help themselves when they realise this.
That’s a deep take. There’s a fine line between helping and enabling, and a whole system built to keep people hooked. Once you see it, you can start breaking free.
Another great chat!…in the black….good ….monochromatic scene with a “black and white” theme.🐇
Life is a never ending continuous hustle and keeps changing, but at least we can count on that. Change and chaos is the only true absolute constant. If we can accept that, the journey will be more manageable to some degree. But we have to keep hustling and adapting, every day. Body, mind and soul are muscles. Keep working and moving…
There is the 'thinking' mind (ego) and the 'doing' mind. (creative)...if always in the 'thinking' mind... nothing gets done.
Exactly. Overthinking kills action. The more we stay in our heads, the less we actually move. Sometimes, you just have to start and let the doing take over.
100%❤❤
new video style - "car noir" :)
i like the sound of that
Nice video. I found I gained the most wisdom when at my absolute lowest I searched within myself for answers. The kingdom of heaven is within
Appreciate that. Hitting rock bottom has a way of forcing deep reflection. Sometimes the answers really do come from looking inward, not outward.
I respect this guy for trying to motivate the many in this country who do not do anything with their lives. There are currently 11 million people who are economically inactive. However, I think humans have reached peak productivity and all great entrepreneurs are waiting form AI/robots to take over.
Respect, man. AI’s coming, no doubt. But waiting around for it to take over? Nah. Still gotta move, grow, and do something with the time we’ve got.
As an ex startup founder (£5m funding from top VCs), being an entrepreneur is massively overrated. You can’t imagine how much unhealed trauma there is in the tech industry, how much narcissism and obsession with money. Some founders absolutely destroy themselves for the sake of building a company. VCs prey on these vulnerable individuals and this toxic lifestyle is glamorised, celebrated.
I’m one of those 11 million. I have no interest in participating in an economy which seeks to enslave people. I choose not to be part of the capitalism cult because it hasn’t stood the test of time. Read Nassim Nicholas Taleb.
congrats on 10k. If you see this, what's your take on philosophy?
Still got a while till 10k haha but thanks in advance!
Ah philosophy, makes for great conversations. There’s a lot of ways of thought, and they all have some interesting truths. But I can’t be sitting thinking about them for too long, need to be living. I’m sure there’s a philosophy for that as well 😅
@@VladWorks bro is on the move it philosophy.
