I'm very biased because of Mamamoo but imo everything RBW has released this year has been outstanding. Moonbyul's album and the groundbreaking song Eclipse with members of Oneus & Onewe singing backup, Solar's neglected collab with Kassy on Solar's beautiful ballad This Song is Quite Old, Oneus with A Song Written Easily with the MV that references MMM's MVs for Starry Night and Wind Flower and seems to hint at an RBW Universe of shared symbolism, Hwasa being featured on Dua Lipa's Physical remix and now on Onewe's Q that stretches their indie rock style to include r&b and jazz fusion. Hwasa's voice is perfect for jazz and r&b because her voice is so sultry - she makes everything sexy. Wheein can wail but her bittersweet honey voice is best suited for r&b and ballads imo. Solar is my pick for versatility. She's obviously got the power vocals but she alters her technique and timbre to suit the song whether she's belting, fondling notes intimately on a ballad, bending. sliding and growling when she wants to get bluesy, or going super simple by providing a clear, clean soprano as a color contrast to the other members on Hip.

I think 3 of them are currently in the military so it will be a while before we get a full group comeback but I loved the duet they did last year called Unlike. Not a fan of how up front the annoying drum sample was mixed but it was still one of my favorite songs last year and I also loved the cover by Oneus. For a bit of kpop trivia, Vromance's Hyunkyu was featured on the pre-debut song Goodbye Rain by The Ark members Jeon Minju & Euna Kim back in 2014. I heard he sang the guide vocals for the male part but they couldn't find anyone to sing it better so they had him do the final track.
Their 3rd comeback with new 3/4 album released concept photos and teaser preview after working on it for months, talking & showing through vlive video chats, connecting with fans and keeping us up to date with their progress. This is their first collaboration with a female artist and just thinking about how ONEWE would sound after their previous comeback with “Regulus” and seeing their next concept theme is super exciting. They deserve to be seen and heard worldwide, we as fans need to help because I feel with this collaboration will open more doors for our guys in the near future I hope. #ONEWE #BringONEWEToAmerica 💪🏽💪🏽
I'm a Wheein bias, but I have to agree that Hwasa is one of the best vocalists, not only in Mamamoo, but as a female singer in general. The fact that she can go from a rapper (alto 2) to belting out and even do a whistle note for fun is just insane to me. Her natural jazzy, sultry voice is a killer.
