I'm glad you said something. When he first got that Mercedes Van I seriously questioned why would you get that? I had a Ford Transit too charcoal gray that thing ran well very affordable maintenance and im in the South so we put more miles on our stuff being so spread out

seems like merc USA needs to up their game with their commercial department, here in Europe the sprinter is the pinnacle of commercial vans, you often see tons of them goes beyond 400-500K miles, with the Inline 4 and V6 diesel engines, and wow the maintenance price over there is also sky high mate, I do most of my van service myself but i suggest you find an authorized independent mechanic for your maintenance. That van is the good stuff, and will take care of your business no problem.
Amazon Expanded A LOT during covid. They bought a bunch of new sprinter vans in like 2020 or 2021 i can't remember. Instead of retiring these vans this year like originally planned they are keeping them on the road. and as a result the mercedes vans from amazon are constantly in the shop. Amazon is likely causing the backlog
Bro my E Transit never needs service (like very rarely). I put new rear tires on at 19.5kmiles but that’s it. Seriously check out that new E Sprinter that’s coming out. It’s a lot cheaper to run it day to day. They are more than the gas vans tho but they drive like a Tesla plus you very rarely need service🤘🏼⚡️

Answer to your question nothing wrong with the benz sprinter. I got 400k miles on my sprinter original engine and trans everything and still running strong. Ive own a 2 promaster they was garbage had trans problems at 70k miles on the first one. The second one i had lifter problems at 30k miles
if you do your oil change or take it to another service center besides Mercedes keep all your receipts in a folder, if anything happens to the motor these dealers look for any reason to get out of doing warranty work
I would never take my van to Ford or any of my other cars to any stealerships, that's like saying to them "I'm cool, rip me off"...... Local mechanics or private ones who offers warranty are my way to go

i had the chance to buy a sprinter van but researched them and most complaint was maintenance cost are way too high. im going with a promaster. even the low roofs are high enough for some people to walk around in. and cheaper to fix. any van you get will need repairs. mind as well get the one with the cheaper repairs.
When you caught yourself I had to look up from my computer to see if you were about to choke someone out!
I understand how you feel about your van. My wife love foreign cars, but that appointment time is 3 months out and cost of repairs is crazy expensive. I don’t understand that.
Our work trucks are all GM/Chevy (I chose them) because parts are easy to find and they’re easy to fix ourselves.
Be careful, don’t void your warranty, and stay safe! Another great video!

Who brushes your teeth for you? Vehicle maintenance is easy and cheaper. Even if you buy a tool set from HF and some special tools here and there, you will know the job is done right when you do the task yourself. But if you need someone to clip your nails, saving money isn't for you.

Try going to loeber motors next for service. My dad took his van to loeber and they gave us a brand new fully loaded sprinter as a loaner. Avoid Mb of Chicago they are completely backed up with work and will most likely have trouble duplicating your concerns.

For some reason roadie don't give us 2 gig at one time. Plus the order you get for less than 10 miles and paying you 40 or more money for less. In Memphis tn, roadie will pay only 10 or 15 dollars for those order. Roadie is not good here

Good afternoon Boss how are you God Bless you I want to say thank you for your experience you have with your sprinter as I’m in the market for one that’s the only issue I have is with Mercedes when it’s needs maintenance gotta wait so long get it serviced that’s what I’m seeing from RUclips and forums other people experience that’s what’s holding me back that’s why luring me to transit 250 extended cuz there’s more mechanics are able to work on the transit compared to the Mercedes at least in my area so far as I do the gig apps with Toyota pick up as I’m looking expand to a cargo van as I’m looking for the Toyota reliability of the cargo vans
With the Mercedes-Benz sprinter van, I get where you coming from as in pricing. I also own a Mercedes-Benz as well. The oil change cost the same price as what your sprinter van. On the bright side of owning a Mercedes sprinter van is the engine will last more than an American car. That’s the reason why Mercedes-Benz is so high when it comes to maintenance. I had a foreign mechanic. Tell me that other certified mechanics fear the Mercedes-Benz because it lasts forever. That means you do not have to even work on it as often. If everyone had a Mercedes-Benz it would put the automotive industry out of business.
Definitely not hating on you, you're doing your thing. But I'm definitely hating on roadie. They pay us less here to do more work! All them $40-50 orders you're getting are at max $38 in my market.
