I remember when WOF and OOF used to have separate admission but both parks shared Monsoon. After you got off Monsoon they had signs telling you which way to go to get back to WOF and which way to go to get back to OOF.
Here's a cool fact during the off-season for oceans of fun ford stores are there cars and trucks in the parking lot so if you've gotten a ford vehicle in or around Missouri it was probably in the oceans of fun parking lot at some point
I love ocean's of Fun and Worlds of Fun! I've lived here in KC my whole life and I love going there in the summer. During fall, while Oceans is closed, Worlds is still open and they transform the whole park to a Halloween themed extravaganza! It's called Halloween Haunt and if I'm right they now have a total of 13 Haunted attractions! Plus almost all the rides are still being operated during haunt! I worked there 2 years in a row as one of the Scare actors and it was a blast! Would 100% recommend for anyone to check out during fall if you love Halloween. and it's even open for a good part of winter with their new attraction WinterFest.
I worked at Worlds of Fun during 06-09 seasons. It seemed to be common for both sides to be short staffed near the end of the Summer. Lots of people calling in etc. I remember having to go to the Oceans of Fun Side and help out with locker returns quite a bit.
good narration- every place is like this now - never enough clerks or workers - very strange - business and stores and amusement parks that serve the public have attractions and facilities that cost $$$$$$$$$$ to run and maintain but yet they can’t spring to keep enough workers on shift to make it run functionally - this is a bizarre trend I see everywhere now in stores and other businesses that serve the public and it’s no good - it also buys strain on the few workers that they do have

When I went to oceans of fun we rented a cabana and it started to rain just as we got there they closed everything and it finally stopped after 2 hours and it was dead after that witch was good their were no lines for anything then POOOFFF it got PaCkEd again ;-; Don't come their on hot days cuz it's crowded XD (Btw Oceans of fun is really fun so u should go there some time :33333) Okay this got too longggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg bye ;3333333

Diamondhead is my second favorite slide at OOF. If you lay down there's lots of turns that flip you around and very fast.
Unfortunately, not for me. I did lay down and still almost stopped. lol
SirWillow did you go shirtless or with a water shirt because the water shirt slows you down if you go without one you'll go a lot faster
