For anyone looking at the Morefine S600 be aware that the advertised "Super silent" fan is not silent at all, quite the opposite. If you lower the fan speed in BIOS you can get it to be quiet when the computer is sitting around not doing anything, but as soon as you do more or less anything the fan maxes out, making it really loud. Then it goes back and forth between low and max fan speed like a yoyo. It's by far the most annoyingly sounding computer I have had and despite the very good specs for the small size I am pretty disappointed with it.
I am using this device and the main issue i have with it is that the Thunderbolt 3 port doesnt seem to work. I attached a Toshiba T3 Dock to it and doesnt recognise at all. Bios says Thunderbolt 3 is enabled , but since it seems impossible to get a Manual for the M/B no idea if any other settings need to be changed. I cant find out what motherboard its using so far ( apart from AMI APTIO of which there are many types), and they are terrible at support...never answer on Chat or whatsapp for days. Great video! Just one thing about the video demo that you're playing is NOT a real 10 bit in terms of color and performance. It is actually a rec. 709 which is a flat "10 bit" file which only contains 8 bit data.
You could change the TDC from 54A to 60 A and the power limits from 64 to 80-90W either in the bios or using UXTU. the HX chip should also be able to use the pbo and curve optimizer
So far the changes I've made don't stop the 680M from throttling a little. Setting the power limit using an override setting results in 400mhz locked on all cores it's odd. But 54W can be set and 4GB dedicated to the GPU. I'll have to try a software way around it.
This looks like a solid upgrade and and I do like my morefine Ryzen mini but it has some drawbacks, mostly notably fan noise and still using USB 2.0 ports for some strange reason. I also think it depends on your use case. I tried this kind of test with my laptop (Asus TUF II with Optimus) and I can say that everything is ok if you're using a viewport smaller than 4K.
