We are discussing a question that we've been receiving a lot recently in regards to snap benefits also known as supplemental nutrition assistance program or sometimes referred to as food assistance or EBT. We're discussing the details of these food stamps and how they are going out to roughly 43 million beneficiaries every month and how they are incredibly important. We're also talking about the annual snap as a result of the supplemental nutrition assistance program cost of living adjustment otherwise known as COLA increase which is applied to snap benefits and goes into affect the beginning of the new fiscal year which starts October 1. We are answering the questions and discussing those details here in this video and exactly what it means for all of the beneficiaries and their monthly snap, food stamp, EBT or supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits.

When 2023 snap benefits began everyone else got a raise to theirs but mine was cut by over a hundred dollars with no reason or explanation.Dont depend on a raise when you actually need every penny when you're a senior citizen.

Never got a letter explaining why they cut me down to $13 monthly

When will I get help with food? I can't get food stamps, making 10.00 too much for any help, and should only seniors, vets should get a raise. Not if you have more than 3 children. Should get only up to 3 children any more than that not covered.

In Colorado, they raise in snap benefits goes into effect in January. They announce the raise in September but don't give it to us until January.
Matt I don't know about where you're at, but at my local Walmart pre Biden a 5 doz eggs that we talked about was $6 and so much cents then Biden went up to 11.00 and something, went back down to $8 and something, then 7.00 now it is back up to $13!!
