- Are you ready to take on a challenge that will give you the momentum you need to make a lasting change in your body and your mindset...for the rest of your life?
Good, because I am too. 2017 was a rough year for me personally and professionally, so that ended up affecting how I ate and how much time I had to exercise. It didn't feel good. And I don't want to enter the new year feeling this way anymore. So if you're up for it, I challenge you to take the 2018 Reset Challenge with me. You in?!
The 2018 Reset Challenge rules:
1. Challenge begins Jan 1, 2018. Take a before picture (front/side/back) in a bikini or in sports bra and shorts.
2. PART 1 - THE FOOD: You will only eat Reset-friendly foods.
3. PART 2 - THE WORKOUT: You will be active for 30 minutes a day, 6x a week.
4. Challenge ends Jan 28, 2018. Take an after picture (front/side/back) all from the same angle and in the same outfit as your before picture. Share your results with hashtag #28dayreset!
FREE 28 DAY RESET PDF: www.blogilates....
PERFECT 10 COOKBOOK: www.piit28.com...
The challenge is only 28 days long, but will set you up for a lifetime of understanding your body. Having acne, feeling bloated, being tired, and carrying around extra "stubborn" fat doesn't feel good, and you deserve nothing less than feeling amazing. The truth is, we've gotten used to thinking the above is "normal". But it doesn't have to be your normal. Your normal should be your best.
Good luck guys! Let's show 2018 who's BOSS!!!!

Love the idea of the challenge and the rules to follow! Good luck everyone! Start of the New Year is looking bright!
PMdre Fitness thank you
I've always been the one to wait until the start of the new year to exercise anyway, so this is just the kind of motivation I need to combat my procrastinative self. Good luck everyone!
,
PMdre Fitness thanks

blogilates are the videos all on youtube?
Sara Sharpe all the Jan 2018 calendar videos are on RUclips
blogilates thankyou for being so motivational in all aspects of life!! You have inspired me so much!!! ❤😊
hi its not working I can't get the calendar
I am SO down for this! Thinking I might struggle in the last week due to an annoyingly timed show I’m in... but I’m definitely going to give it my best shot :) x
Cassey, I've been following your channel and you on social media for over 3 years and you still surprise and success to motivate me! I never get tired of you because you know how to spice things up just when I need it. Awesome! Keep going! You're such an inspiration. Love you! ❤️
Soooooo exciting Cassey!! 💙 You never disappoint
I love how positive you always are and can't wait for the challenge!!! I want to be in the best shape I've ever been in this year!😄
I was so excited to go back to piit28 and running but I did something weird with my knee and now it hurts and maaaaan this sucks.
And about the reset: you know how expensive it is in the Netherlands/Europe to eat no gluten, no dairy and no added sugar? It's crazy. The shops really make way to much money on the fruits, vegetables, gluten free, etc. But, as usual, I'm going to try the reset, again. Good luck everyone!!! And happy new year!!!
I know, it's more expensive to eat healthy???!! so frustrating :(
Mijn W same for Croatia, and we don't get half of the things either or the quality of the product isn't good plus it is expensive
Oh and literally our diet is based on breads, milk, cheese, vine 😂 I mean... our food is just so good
Same in Denmark . There’s no way I’m cutting out gluten
Same in the UK, trying to go gluten free will make my shopping bill so much more expensive. Will definitely try and commit to the exercise part of it though
Same in Poland :/ awful
I'M SO PUMPED FOR THIS!!!! THANK YOU CASSEY for always motivating and inspiring me
When the people you live with only buy the crap lol 😂
Melissa Suckow ugh same
Melissa Suckow omggg saame when I say to my mom I want to eat healthier she doesen’t care and cooks the most fat fastfood things
Exactly! And college money can only get you so far after rent and other expenses >
Jemima Thompson yess you have to eat what’s on the table🙄
i’m 14 and eat 100% vegan, mostly whole foods, and my parents don’t buy ANYTHING for me. i eat things we already have like oats and whatever veggies i can dig out of the freezer and canned beans and veggies and such, but i also have to make some money and buy some of my own “special foods”. it’s not that hard. it can be done, healthily too.
You're such a wonderful person. I've been watching your videos for the past 5 years. You've taught me a lot and I'm thankful to you. Please always be happy because you deserve it!!! ❤️🙌🏼
I am SO excited for 2018! I know this is going to be my year, I can feel it. My first goal is to feel more comfortable in a dress that I got. I want to wear it on my birthday, which is mid March, so I'd say that's a realistic goal to lose a little bit of weight. After that, I want to get ready for summer. I'll definitely get your cookbook, because if there's one thing I struggle with, it's the food. I can control myself, but it's so hard to cook entire meals for myself when I live with a family of 4 who don't want to eat healthy (like in the way I want to 😂) so I really hope this will work, because now I can just prepare something quick for myself and my mom, and the rest can eat whatever they want. Thanks so much, Cassey. We're all gonna kick 2018's butt! ✌🏼💪🏼
your family situation is exactly mine haha but yes 2018 we're coming for you!
I love working out with people like Cassey, she is always so upbeat and positive and it makes me feel great in my soul.
I need this motivation 😂
JustDoingOurThang ikr
JustDoingOurThang same 😂😂
JustDoingOurThang Let's motivate each other! I'll subscribe to you and keep you updated! do you want to do it?
JustDoingOurThang same 😂
Michelle Serna sure that’ll be awesome
I'm really really looking forward to this! Just got my mum to agree to doing it with me :) Just turned 56, it's never too late to change your lifestyle! Good luck to everyone doing this!
I really hope I will be able to finish this challenge! Can’t wait for this, GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!! 💕😍
Did the challenge last January. If anyone is hesitant, let me tell you, it was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I suffer from ibs-d. I had already been mostly wheat and slightly gluten free for a couple years, but taking gluten and dairy out completely was a game changer. I still have stomach issues, but the cramping I had since I was little(even leg numbing period cramps) all but diminished after eliminating dairy and gluten. I still sneak some things in that have dairy and gluten, but I only do it every now and then. I feel so much better. It was a fantastic way to give myself a good foundation for bettering my health. I took what I learned from the reset and now I also macro count. For me, this is phenomenal. I’m not a solid rock or anything, but I’ve seen my body change more from nutrition in the last year than in the last 6 years I’ve been working out. If you need a good solid base to kickstart your healthy lifestyle and learn more about you and your body, don’t skip this reset! Seriously!
Was gonna change in 2017, but failed. But I have a few days to prepare. I'm currently going to an eating disorder program. And it's kinda helping. And they have a meal plan. Which means we bring our own food. And because of that, I have been feeling better. So this video is sent to my mom so we can do it together
Don't listen to Julia. There is nothing wrong with this program. I'm sorry to hear you've been dealing with an eating disorder, they really do suck. I, myself, used to suffer from them. I've relapsed a couple of times, but I'm making sure to do it right this time. If you need any guidance or support, I've got your back and so does the rest of the popster family. You are strong and you can do this :)
Dear Cassey, for all my life I was suuuuper skinny (up to the point where it was a health issue), but I managed to eat better and gain some weight - still very skinny, but I'm feeling healthy. So I decided to take up your workouts and after not even a month I went from doing only the quick 3 minute ones to actually doing 15-20 minutes of workout everyday! Thank you for motivating me on my journey, I will keep working out with you till I drop! LOVE YOU! 😘😘😘
Love you Cassey I am going to try my best to follow this, I got your 2018 fit planner and I’m so excited to start writing in it! I want 2018 to be in fantastic year can’t wait to start it off right!!
2018 is gonna be my year, i can feel it! thanks for being the greatest role model EVER. i love you really much!
I remember I did the 2016 to 2017 reset diet last time around and I developed an eating disorder. just be careful yall. I feel like honestly these plans are so toxic for the mind. Just focus on health. Love yourself now. The whole "take photos from every angle" make it out like you need to have some massive transformation, and working out SIX times a week. I just, ugh, I cant deal with this. If I could go back and have not done that reset, I wouldn't be so messed up today
EDIT: Also can I just say, I know full well that's not the message Cassie is sending. She has not put up a number of calories to follow, or portions or anything. At its true core, this reset program has good intentions. All im saying is, the way you follow it will depend on YOU. I didn't just "grow" an ED solely because of this program, it simply gave the voice that was deeply rooted, an open door inside my head. So please all im saying is be careful. do it properly. and don't be too hard on yourself. eat plenty of calories. dont feel bad. live fully. and as i said i am not saying it's cassies fault I went through what I went through, it was because of my mental state, the message im sending is, if you are in a fragile state of mind, dont do this
I'm so sorry you suffered...but yeah, I agree. As someone who suffered with an ED for many years, I see no reason to cut anything... I cut out dairy, but that's for environmental reasons only. And yeah, working out six days a week is a bit much.. Especially if you become obsessive and freak out over missing workouts.
I workout an hour two to tree times a week. I'm always thinking about working out less and more frequent.... But I dont feel like washing my damn hair everyday and after working out it gets so oily and nasty...
I am a professional dancer in recovery from anorexia, so I already work out a lot and don't eat much unless I have to. Do you think this challenge might be triggering for me? Because I was thinking about doing it but I'm not sure
Min Yoongi deserves the world I think you know better than anyone what's best. Maybe you can follow the challenge but don't do whatever feels like too much...even if it is not doing it at all. But you got this!
Min Yoongi deserves the world Hi hun yes as the person said above you do know yourself best, but my advice is, if you have struggled with issues in the past, its important to stay in a healthy, balanced mind set and plans like these that are very restrictive can be very triggering. I recommend just focusing on health, fresh foods, and getting outside more. There's no need to do a reset. especially if it could send you back to a dark place. I wish you all the best x
I can't believe how fast time pass. I did this reset early this January and I wanted keep myself motivated so I asked a couple friends to join. I didn't lose much weight but I stay motivated and felt great and I was able to go to the bathroom everyday because I was eating so clean and healthy!!! This is a great reset to start off the year!!!
Casey, can you please keep in mind the poor people? I love how you want to help and I really admire you, but I just can't ever afford to do resets, but I really want to. Maybe do a budget friendly program, because not everyone has this kind of money. Just some advice that you may wanna consider! 😘😀
Strawberry Jam Gamer buy frozen veggies and fruit. Buy in season fruits and vegetables. Beans, lentils, potatoes, and rice are very cheap and very healthy
Strawberry Jam Gamer omg im so with u this is the stuff im always thinking but never comment don't want to sound like im gripping but yes seriously for ppl like ME on a food stamp budget With 2 growing hungry daughter's I need a $$$$$$ friendly reset like 10$ a week if that's even possible but i make it work regardless. Isn't it sad how it's easy n cheap to eat crappy n feed yrself processed foods that will eventually kill u but to eat healthy n survive a healthy life style is some thing u must work for and supply yourself with like a monthly necessity bill it's sad vegetables n fruit grow in the free ground earth n should remain freely accessible to Americans but it's not. Hmmmm hopeful 1 day it will be just as affordable. Its just sad that you can get 5 $1 cheeseburgers or pay $5 for a small salad. We need💁 affordable alternatives💪 asap. 🙏🙏🙏
I have been actively doing yoga for the last year and a half...but I need some cardio in my life to burn calories. Your videos have been a life saver! Thank you so much
.
Soooo excited
ps: everything is on point and the hair yesss girl 💓💓💓
It seems like I've only been watching your videos for a short while, but I realized it's been about 3 years! The years have flown by since I've been working out with you :D You are such a cool and inspiring person :) love you!
Cassey, I've been watching your videos since I was 16/17 years old...I'll be 23 this year in March!!! This past year I did not take my health as serious as I had before. I'm so glad that I can always come back to your channel to reset things!!
Your hair looks awesome 👏🏽✨😍
I did it‼️‼️‼️ It was really hard but the way she smiled☺️ in the videos, it made the workouts so easy. I did the first workout really well. But in the second one I stopped in the middle. I was literally shaking. But I love how she motivates you to do a workout with that beautiful 😊 smile.
Love you Cassey.......
Xoxo💋💋💋
I love you Cassey! Will join thissss wohooo and am already buying the perfect 10 hehe :p I shall be doing your classic blogilates calendar on days I’m not lifting!
YAY omg I hope you love Perfect 10!
I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and you help me so much to try to overcome it. Thank you soooo much.💖
If you want to eat better or be more active just do it, you don’t need a new year to make those changes. Rather than cutting things out of your diet just try balance instead.
Shay I agree!
You are right, balance is key. However some people do benefit from cutting certain things out because they may have a sensitivity that is causing inflammation and making them sick. Sometimes just eating less of something (gluten, dairy, sugar) can benefit people. Sensitivities to certain foods are real, and most people do feel better and less bloated the less they eat of these things. ☺
I've been waiting for 2018's reset challenge, I've been doing your beginnings calendar and it's my 12th day and i see so much change in myself, I'm less stressed, I'm stronger and I'm happier. I can't wait to start 2018 reset 💝
My Favorite RUclipsr EVER!!!❤😍👏👍👍😰😫😂😊😃
Today marks the day I change my life. 😉💗❤ I support anyone trying this and I believe you can do it even if you give in a lil bit. Support from Massachusetts!❤❤
Because I am vegetarian I am not going to take out gluten but I will try to take out sugar, processed food and dairy! I hope I can do it!! ❤❤
Maria21 good luck! also kudos to you for being veggie!
elise dugas thank you so much!! Good luck to you too!!
I'm vegan, and I took out gluten. Why don't you wanna cut gluten out? :) just curious
Camilla Jørgensen it would be hard to find what to eat if I took out gluten.. it is in so many foods...
I haven’t experienced gluten in that many Whole Foods. Yes in meat substitutes, but they don’t classify as clean anyways, since they are super processed. But do what works best for you :)
We love you Cassie! You inspire everyone everyday. Thank you for always being you and for teaching everyone how to have fun with a healthy lifestyle.
- ELMS Health
Casey I lost 7kg from doing your workout videos and I am 10 years old!!! Thank you love u !!!
Good job ! I´m 43 and it`s so hard to do the workouts. Keep it up !
Bianca aww thank you so much!!! I have been working hard since the 4th of February and has lost that much weight. I am now in grade 6 and started to feel ugly and now I am the happiest I could be!!! That means sooo much!!!
Nancy Padilla yes I have I don’t eat a lot when I am dieting but the Christmas holidays has just made me eat everything!!! I am really stuck and bloated and do not know what to do! I have been eating a lot of yummy food and I am stuck!!! I need advice????!
Babe, you're 10- it's really great that you're interested in exercise and keeping fit, but unless your doctor has told you that you should lose weight for health reasons it may not be a good idea to make being thin your goal- especially if you're restricting your diet (not a good idea when your body's trying to grow!) You're going to be changing a lot soon anyway, so try not to worry about how you look to other people just now and keep being happy in yourself the way you are x
Tibby Agatha yeah, in grade 5 I was diagnosed as overweight by a doctor and I was 43kgs and told me to eat clean, now I am 38kgs and I am so happy!! Now it is really hard for me to not think about food and how much I am eating, I am so stressed and tired worrying if I ate a bit of chocolate and I always think my friends look good but I am literally the same weight as them, I need advice and it is just really stressing me out, but thankyou for supporting me!!🤗🤗🤗🤗😞😞😞
I've never looked up to someone as much as I look up to you! can't wait to start this journey with you and everyone else doing it as well
I'll try hard to do it as much as I can, but being at work all day will be hard, can't cook a lot, and can't really workout a lot, except for weekends obviously! I wish I worked from home it would be SO much easier!!!
Krista Vlogs Hi Krista. I love Blogilates so this is in no way an attempt to discredit anything in this video. However, I am like you. I’m a University student full time and have placements teaching children in schools 7-6pm. I am absolutely exhausted when my days are over and when the weekend comes I just want to relax. However I found a way to get into fitness. For our lifestyles I would reccommend aiming for two times a week AT FIRST. After a while our bodies will adjust to exercising and we wont feel so tired once they have become part of the routine. From here, you can gradually increase the days. At my fittest I worked out five times a week every day for at least 10 months (I didnt really count how long for, I saw it more of a lifestyle change). Also, HIIT workouts are perfect for us because they are SO short (do one thats at least 15 mins tho) yet effective and continue to burn calories 24hrs afterwards. This worked for me and I have lost tons of weight where I have a flat stomach now. Sorry if this bored you I just know how frustrating it is to want to get fit but not have the means or time to do so. For our lifestyle I feel like throwing yourself right in the deep end with 6x a week may burn you out and make your healthy lifestyle short lived. All the best
Krista Vlogs Just another note that I am not a professional I am only speaking from my experience!
Krista Vlogs do you love your job?
Super excited to start this! I’ve already started to make a few changes like packing my lunch to water, trying to increase my water intake, and going back to making my favorite smoothies. Cassey I’ve said this before but you are the ultimate motivator! Thanks for all that you do 🤗❤️
Your hair is bomb
Why thank you!
blogilates aww no problem!
good luck everyone!!!!! you got this. i have honestly been discouraged lately bc i gained so much fat around my tummy bc of the holiday eating and i've felt really ashamed and negative about it. so this challenge is a really really good way for me to reset. i did it at the beginning of 2017 and it quite literally changed my food consumption and outlook on healthy eating (plus i decreased my abdominal fat a lot) so i hope i have positive results this time around too. honestly im just scared about sticking with eating clean more than working out!
*watches this while drinking soda and eating ice cream cake*
Maria i hate ice cream cake lol
Maria this is me rn 😂
Maria this is me rn 😂
Me
Im so glad this is back. I did this last year and i was trying to figure out what i was going to do this year and all of a sudden......i get a notification that this video has posted!!!!!!
Oh Cassie this sounds wonderful, but I won’t be able to cut out on gluten. The average breakfast and lunch in Denmark contains gluten. We eat a healthy bread called rugbrød everyday for lunch and I’m pretty sure it contains gluten :-)
There's no reason to cut out gluten if you aren't intolerant/allergic. I'm guessing she's saying that in case some people are, and haven't realised it yet..?
gluten is good for you unless you are allergic to it. gluten and carb heavy things aren't the problem, the oils annd high-fat things usually paired with it are.
Men selvfølgelig gør hvad du finder bedst :)
I'm so excited! My husband and I are already planning on doing this! We just bought the whole PIIT 28 series and the 28 day reset!
I would really love to do this, but its so hard as a college student when you don't have your own kitchen :(((
i love her. I was here at the end of 2016 and was entirely and completely inspired. Let's do this! im so excited!
we can do it!!!
Got my fit planner for Christmas and can’t wait to get to work on this reset!!!!!!! Love you Cassey 💛
I love you so much Casey!!!! 💪 😘
I am honestly excited to do this reset. In 2017 I started my transformation and by the end of the year I wasn’t feeling really motivated and wasn’t seeing a change. So I think this reset will be good for me to work harder for the new year and record the results to see a difference and in a while just make my body feel better
Mom and I do this challenge where there is a shirt. First to wear is the winner! We try to stay off of gluten. It is dope.
My mom and I am also doing it together! I lost 2 and she lost 5, she's bigger than me so it's pretty much the same😊
Oh thats sooo sweet i wish my mum would do it with me
This lines up perfectly with what I was planning to do in the New Year already - so happy to be doing it in a community!
i have a question! if you're cutting out all of those things at once (gluten, dairy, etc) and see significant changes in your wellness, how do you know which of those was the culprit intolerance and which are fine for you to eat once the reset is over?
Rita Castagna she advises you reintroduce them one at a time over a period of a few weeks after the challenge is over, to see which ones you have a reaction to. the PDF explains more. I found an allergy to certain types of grains with this!
thank you!!
I cut them out one by one , for me Dairy was the worst , then added sugar and processed foods , but gluten doesn't harm me too much I just cut out bread in general and that seemed to make a difference ....also I've never done this reset , this is just something I did bc I've had leaky gut my entire life >< but ya maybe after the reset(if you do it) you can try one by one :)
this is so important!! i found myself eliminating diary and ham from my life and haven't had an allergy attack since!!!
Rita Castagna no, you have to do them one at a time to know! Thats why diets like this arent the best idea for figuring out specific intolerances
I participated in one of your older videos a couple weeks ago after recovering from some health issues that doctors still don’t know what I have that has prevented me to workout or even walk for 10 mins for 2 years but I took your advice that you said about not waiting till Monday or next month to start being healthy and active on that video and I did start that same day and it’s been two weeks and I’ve lost 5 pounds so far and I’ve gotten my energy back and I’m no longer craving the foods that made me feel so bloated and tired. I’m excited to start this challenge 😊
Love a NY challenge!
I can't wait to do this!! I have stopped having cow's milk for 2 months now but I haven't seen any improvements but maybe with these tips I will see changes. Thank you!! 😄
This is my first time...IN REMISSION FROM CHEMO!!!!
IS EVERYTHING POSTED ON RUclips???
You mean the calendar ? It's a pdf with links to workout videos
Cassey, you've inspired me for years! Please keep creating and shining! 💗
Check out the forks over knives most of them are reset friendly
I am part of the challenge 🖐🏻 I want to be the best version of myself and be healthy ! Thank you for this motivation Cassie ❤️❤️
LOVE THIS SO MUCH! The only problem is I’m a busy college student so I might have to repeat a lot of the recipes in the Reset, like smoothies and such. I got the vegan version awhile ago but don’t have a lot of the ingredients in my area(black bean noodles, vegan protein powder) but I will do my best and COMMIT. Also starting round 2 of 1.0 Jan 1st 💕 Luv u Cassey!
I tried this a few months ago at my CrossFit box...hardest thing I have ever tried in my whole life!!! I failed miserably but my grandma does this diet 24/7 for the last like 10ish yrs, I developed SO much respect for her and anyone else who does this for whatever reason. I dont have a lot of dairy anymore because of this(I got used to not having it anymore) but I have noticed no difference in my acne :( Through out the challenge and since I have noticed that a lot of it has to do with simply being conscious of what we put in our bodies. I wish everyone luck and I hope you learn so much
HOLD UP I HAVE IMPORTANT INFORMATION
I love you Cassey❤️
I really need this.. 2017 is a tough year for me, hopefully I can make a change and get my confidence back. And importantly, to be persistent in doing this challenge. Thank you Cassey!
Even though I love blogilates and follow cassey for over 4 years now I absolutely hate this challenge... I don't think it's a good idea to cut out everything unless you have an intolerance which you can check out with your doctor... It is simply not necessary to stop eating gluten because it's not bad for you the same goes with milk and so on. Just try to eat for example sugar in the recommended portions and you are good to go. And working out six times a week IDK there was a time in my life where working out was the only goal so I did everything to achieve those 6 times per week even though my body needed rest so work out if you want but don't feel like you have to just because someone told you so... What are your thoughts about this challenge??
lisi pisi To test for intolerance (which is the point of this), you have to cut the food out for a couple of weeks, to allow any remains to leave your body, and then reintroduce the foods one at a time to see if it has any effect on you. If you go to a doctor, that is what they will suggest. You just have to make sure any nutrients you lose out on are supplied by other foods. And added sugar is never good for you, even in the recommended amount. Cutting it out or at least lowering how much you eat added sugar will help you feel better (though I won’t pretend I don’t struggle with not eating too much of it).
Liz bth Well, obviously a dr is always best, but you can do this safely at home on your own as long as you watch your diet. She’s only really suggesting gluten and dairy, it’s not super restrictive. I had to cut loads of food for six weeks once, and I can’t eat gluten or dairy (or egg) still. This is easy. It takes some adjustment, but it’s fine after a few days. And she is telling you to reduce processed stuff, but if you have an intolerance, you’ll feel like crap anyway.
Liz bth yes totally agree with you and I also think this challenge is great for people who think they maybe have an intolerance but what about people who know they don't have one... They do not need this challenge
lisi pisi It doesn't hurt to do this for a month, since it may have unexpected benefits, such as feeling less tired or your skin clearing up. You don't have to do it, but if you watch your diet, you'll be fine to do so.
I will definitely do this. New year, new me. Let’s do this everyone! I believe in you all.
I accept, but I don't have any gluten intolerance or harden belly. Why should I removed it?
Barbara Marques just helps with bloating
Thanks. "De-bloat" is very important LOL
Barbara Marques haha I know right?
Yeah it only reduces your cardiac disease risk if you actually have coeliac disease. Also cutting gluten out of your diet completely means you likely won't eat as many cereal fibres, which over an extended period of time can increase the risk of type 2 diabetes.
Barbara Marques you MUST NOT remove gluten. If you do, it may make you gluten intolerant so don’t
I'm excited!!! I had such great results last year and then got messy. Excited to do this again and get back on track! Starting tomorrow actually 💖
I love you so much please come to Egypt your biggest Egyption fan I wish you the happiest days
AHHH I totally wanna go to Egypt one day!
+blogilates OMG I will be honoured if you came .love you
YES! I cant wait to start the challenge. Start the new year off good. Thank you Cassey!!
I personally think that it is a little to much. I get that it is all healthy for your body and stuff, but it's also a way of making money, I think. I don't have the opportunity to do it, plus I am not going to buy the freaking cook book. So, thanks but no thanks to me.
This is just what I have been needing. I've meant to 'reset' my body for while now, especially with cutting out dairy and added sugars. And I've been planning on starting the blogilates calendar starting January 1st. What a perfect push for me :) Thanks Cassey!! Can't wait to start feeling good inside and out for the new year!
I want to do this so badly but my only problem is the fact that I am a teenager thus, I live with my parents and they love to eat pasta. Question: Is rice ok to eat?
Georgina - 연기 중 yes but control it
Yes actually rice is ok! You can get the rules here: www.blogilates.com/blog/2017/12/26/your-2018-reset-challenge-is/
Yep, rice is fine but brown rice is preferable.
Brown rice is actually harder on your digestion than white rice BTW.
Georgina - 연기 중 yes. don’t believe this brown rice is better bullshit. white rice is better for bloating & digestion.
The work out part I'll definitely do but theres a small problem with my diet... I still live with my family, so itvs not possible to cook for me without gluten and diary. But I will reduce eating added sugar and fast food. Also since I'm turning 16 in march I definitely won't drink alcohol until then, because I don't do ungeraged drinking. I'm taking everything step by step, so I can motivate myself to do even better next time. I know myself well enough, so if I change pretty much everything over night it won't last long. And by the way, you are so motivating for me, I love how you talk to your subscribers👍
I honestly just wanna gain weight .. 😅
Omg I got so excited when I saw this video because last week I had actually decided to do the 28 days reset on January and it motivated me even more!
I also noticed that dairy promote acne in my skin
taking out dairy didn't stop it ...but it helped a lot
Cassey!! I can't thank you enough for this video, I really needed someone to give me that reminder and push to build a better body for me to rock this world in for 2018! I'm starting my senior year in highschool at the end of January so this is perfect ❤❤❤❤❤
What if I am obsessed with eating sweets?
for me personally, i find using alternatives works like frozen bananas taste like ice cream, frozen grapes tastes like candy etcetc
Natalya then eat fruit.
You can ween off of them slowly , that was my biggest issue , I was addicted to sugars , but the more whole foods you eat , the less your mind and body crave them :)
Natalya One of my favorite teas is Cinnamon Apple Spice by Celestial Seasonings... it tastes like it has a hint of sugar but to my knowledge, it doesn't. Their Sugar Cookie tea is really good, too.
lindzeybee sugar cookie tea🤔😍😍
I am starting today...again! I have a issue with my psoas right now that makes sleeping almost impossible but I am still going to persevere! Wish me luck!
Ok this might be weird but can u have chewing gum on the reset??CUZ IM OBSESSED😩
I am pretty sure you are allowed. It is too damn small and you do not even swallow it to count. And if you want to be sure you can always try those without sugar
Marina Maric thank youuuuu
I am so definitely gonna do this. Here's to hoping for a great and healthy year ahead 🤗
i find it so hard to cut out dairy, although i don't drink milk, it's really hard to cut out cheese!! any recommendations?
nicole mason Try making your own cheese if you really can’t do without the taste (e.g out of cashews and nutritional yeast, look for recipes on RUclips), but as someone who loved cheese I can say - eating cheese is really a thing of habit and if you stop, after a short while, you will not crave it at all anymore. Good luck!
nicole mason try vegan cheese
Vegan cheese!! It's just as tasty.
girl in the basement thank you!!
madl Fkay thank you!
I'M DOING THIS!!!! I've been slacking because of my exams and I've been stressed but now I'm ready!!!
Not a hater but before anyone tries out a diet like this please keep in mind:
Gluten intolerance is usually linked to fructans in wheat products and has nothing to do with gluten so if you feel bloated with bread products do your research on that- there are many important vitamins in products containing gluten so keep that in mind.
Dairy is not proven to influence your skin, anecdotes are not facts. don’t eliminate all dairy without consulting a doctor about your calcium and vitamin d needs. You need them for your immune system and especially for your bones and further your blood and muscles. Without calcium your muscles wont move!!!!
I love Cassey but every “reset” diet feeds into these ideas that the foods you have to cut out are “bad” and somehow you’re healthier off of them. Food cleanses dont exist, your liver and kidneys exist for this reason. The longest living generation in existence today drank milk and ate bread so don’t forget that ok bye
Ok, not going to cut out gluten, dairy, added sugar, or processed foods because 1. I couldn’t live like that and 2. That is very expensive
I will do less of everything though, and I am not sure I have the time to do this almost everyday, but I will try to follow it as close as possible. Maybe next reset, make it a little easier and less expensive. A lot of the people that want to do your reset are beginners, including me. But, I think it is a good challenge. Keep up the good work, and keep in mind other people that need to take it easy. Love ya ❤️
So no pizza..??????😭😭😭
Sage Park you can have pizza just use a gluten free dough, sugar free sauce, and dairy free cheese.
Hannah Torres or no cheese ☺
JUST WHAT I NEEDED!! NEEDED THIS VIDEO AND YOU ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS! YOU MADE EVERYTHING SEEM SO SIMPLE!! TOTALLY MOTIVATED FOR 2018!!! xoxo
Yasss
I'm a mixture of nervous and excited to start. Hopefully 2018 will be filled with happiness! ♡
I'm already naturally thin and don't want to get thinner. Will cutting out those foods and exercising do that to me or will it just tone me up?
Jara M I agree, I’m usually looking for ways to gain muscle, not lose fat. I’m sure this is healthy to do regardless because it has more benefits than just weight loss.
Eat lots of gluten free carbs proteins and fats xx
I need to do this! I've been really slacking in both exercise and my diet. Thank you for making this!💕
No. No. No! To the diet stuff. I am a coeliac and being gluten-free means that there are some things it is much harder to get into your diet. I have a friend who went dairy-free for her skin and ended up lactose intolerant, with her skin not much clearer...
When I've mentioned taking out dairy to GPs in the UK they usually give you a great big stare. Personal experiences aside, or preferences (e.g. going vegan...), there is no need to take out dairy for ACTUAL health reasons unless you've been told to by your doctor.
Big diet changes like this without consulting a doctor, even if you are planning to go back in 28 days, is really silly.
Alcohol, processed foods, and sugar, our bodies could do without. They've never been a hugely necessary part of our diet, and moderate consumption of them has always been advised. But gluten and dairy? Think twice. Actually, maybe three or four or ten times. Maybe just vary your grains where gluten is concerned and make this the month to try the fancy coconut yoghurts or whatever, and try and pack in more fruit and veg.
Have been doing blogilates workouts this year but this diet advice even for a 'reset' is really unhelpful!
Liz bth that's a better idea, yes. But if you have problems like IBS even that can't really be diagnosed by bloods. Coeliac can, but not conclusively. In the UK you still need other tests for them to be certain and to recommend a gluten free diet for you.
Plus, anyone who has been diagnosed with coeliac disease will know the agony they were in after eating, the extreme diarrhoea, fatigue, and other symptoms caused by lack of absorption.
I'm glad someone said this!
Well said Antonia!
Sorry but as someone with an actual medical background I completely disagree with you. Do what you want with your own body but there's nothing unhealthy with this reset. Especially cutting dairy. Educate yourself on how our body processes (or doesn't process) this food. ✌🏼
you are the star in my dark sky
thank you for being an angel in my life
Take my money now lmao
Yesssss I Love new year challenges!! And this is perfect too, while Christmas with my in-laws has been fantastic, the healthiest thing in the house is low-fat, sugar-filled Greek yogurt XD there used to be carrots.... but then I ate them all. I’ll be back to my regular living area before the new year so yayyyy less stomach aches!
Why are you so good to us! This is such an amazing challenge for your subscribers! I'm totally in! The only thing I worry about is the reset food since I am a college student Dx, but im up for the challenge!
