- I don't care, this is probably one of their best comeback in a while, if not EVER! There is not a single cell in my whole entire body that doesn't think that this comeback is freaking fire! It's a battle song that creates this blazing fire and energy within you that makes you feel like you can fight against your inner demons etc. I think this is why the "lalalala" parts almost feel like a hypnotizing chant that's somehow also part of a exorcism? Like if you say it out loud and in that manner, you'll get rid of evel spirits?! UGH, I love this! This is amazing! I also loved seeing how everyone who they were fighting at first all united at the end to help the kids fight those demons which I guess might represent: fear, stress, anxiety etc. So my takeaway from this whole thing is: thanks to music, you can find power and feel fueled to go against pretty much anything that's in your way, even your darkest nightmares! And that makes me love this even more! The song is a battle song like I said but it's a battle that you'll win! This was fantastic!

The four characters each means: Joy, anger, sadness and pleasure. In the MV, the emotions are in a fight and Each time, one character fades out (meaning that this emotion has lost the battle). At the end, there is only one character/emotion left and wins which is pleasure. (correct me if i’m wrong but these are what i recall from changbin’s explanation in the intro).

In general, I tend to love their B-Sides even more than title tracks. From 5-Star it was Hall of Fame and Item.
I'm totally here for Stray Kids's noise music. It's what got my attention in the first place and I love it so much. I've listened to the full album many times over now and it makes me realise yet again how much I also love their less in-your-face songs. This whole album is a winner for me. It has such a different feel from 5-Star. And certainly much different than Maxident! (Which is my least favourite album overall, but the unit songs are everything.)
My favourites this year have all come from Stray Kids and Ateez. Their sounds both hit a sweet spot for me. I'm excited for the Ateez comeback as well.

I was always a fan of the Gods Menu, and Thunderous type of stray kids. Maniac, 143 and S class were good but not quite the style I initially liked. Glad they returned

喜怒哀楽 is a four letter common word expressing the emotions; joy, anger, sadness, fun and the last one is 樂 fun and it is pronounced 락 in Korean, similar to ROCK. 樂 also means music, and a lot of word play going as usual for Stray Kids. This song title is 락 樂 , and the album title is 樂-STAR i.e. ROCK STAR.

Ive NEVER like any stray kids song from the first listening, ive always put them on my playlist just for the sake of it and after a while i start to love those songs... this one is kinda different tho, i liked from the start, after watching this mv once i was already "lalalala"ing for the rest of the day! ahahahahahha i think the last time i liked smt from the start was prob in hellevator
This mv talks about all the emotion the kids felt when they are on stage, 喜 = Happy, 怒 = Angry, 哀 = sadness, 樂 = Joyful and this character is pronounced as 'lak' or 'rak' that sound like rock. It's double meaning with joy and rock, that's why the theme is rock n roll. So those different sets portray different emotions such as pirates as anger (that's why at the early part of the mv you can see pirates who are dancing have red eyes), clown set represent happy (they literally playing with the clown), the white set with ashes as sadness ( it's calm and sad) and the last set where changbin's part start is joy or 'lak/rock' ( the theme is all rock, you can see guitar everywhere). They are all represent what is happening inside 8 of children's mind when they are on stage like disney movie 'INSIDE OUT'. as the kid performing on the stage, these characters disappear one by one and left only joy or 'lak/rock'. And at the end scene of the mv you can see all the emotion from different set dance together at the joy or 'lak/rock' set representing the last emotion they felt when perfoming is joy or excitement. after "maniac" was released I didn't particularly like skz's releases.
they weren't bad, but not to my taste.
however, "lalalala" and the album as a whole are very good! the melody of this title track just pulls you in and doesn't let go until the very end.

Hiatus can be considered several months, doesn't mean it's going to be super long as you're implying. It's several months before each album release in between... that's a comeback.

Not because they're not good, but because the girl kpop groups consume all of my time and energy and I frankly found them more interesting.
