I don't like colored gloves (Thank you, Jesse!), but they are an interesting topic. Great video!
I like colored gloves, and I wished they were in the game, but instead of getting them easialy, you would have to see a special person who's building is always a cog building, and you would have to save it, get the very hard task (20 Head Hunters, 15 Leagle Egels, 30 Number Crunchers, 5 VPS, ect, ect.) You would do the task, turn it in, get your colored gloves, then it'll turn back into a cog building.
agreed, I don't like coloured gloves, it just kinda gives away the toony-ness
God. I remember ToonTown when I was a kid. Can you imagen what a modern day game like that would be like? I'm not talking a remake of Toon Town. That's already been done...sort of. I'm talking an original IP but with the idea of a custom toon MMO.

Wait a minute... I thought Toons wore gloves because back in the early days of animation, it was to distinguish a Toon's hand from their body.

You can change your gloves to green during saint patricks day.
Gus Gooseberger's gloves are drenched in the blood of Lil Old Man
Also for a while during march in honor of Saint Patrick's Day TTR had a little mini event where you could get green colored gloves for a limited time if you said a special phrase they gave you during that time to a specific NPC that I don't remember.

I also think I like the white gloves in TTR just fine

why do Gus and Chicken Boy get the coloured gloves when a majority decided "white only"?
Sure they gave the backstory
but there has to be an extra reason to just randomly give an NPC deviating gloves...
perhaps, as simply an easter egg? Or a last minute thought change?

For those wanting to play Toontown Offline in a LAN server with their buddies, I actually have a video I made ages ago on how to do that, but that's with the original release of Toontown Offline.
Nice video, but I do have one issue. Mickey wears gloves because his hands needed to be easily distinguishable from his black body. It's also why he has a tan "mask" on his face. Other than that, very informative video! :)

Around St Patricks Day in TTR there was a hidden 'sidequest' where your toon was able to get green gloves for a few days

+BunniiMice First off, she's saying do a Toontown mystery of the UPCOMING Cog Nation. Finally, it was supposed to be this huge update for TTO. However, since the date of Cog Nation was later gonna be the date of Toontown's closing they had no choice and to scrap it again. (Yes I said again, it was gonna be called Cog HQ but they felt it was out of place for an ongoing MMO)

Chicken boy was originally planned to be a chicken but chicken lost the toon species
I mean...that is not entirely true, Mickey in his earlier prototype
design had no gloves, and in his first color debut and cartoons
following after his gloves were yellow. It was after another redesign
that he got his white gloves. That being said I really would love
colored gloves as it makes Toons be more unique and stick out from each
other, and it is not like you couldn't choose white gloves to stay

I saw a dog with colored gloves, he was an NPC. I think he's in donalds dock or ttc.
He had colored gloves for a limited time during a special event.

In my opinion, gloves should be allowed to still be coloured, a good idea would be allow them to be Just For Fun rewards that would last a certain amount of time.
for a bit in ttr you could stop at 1 place on oak street and get green gloves for st paddy's day

You can usually glitch through any buildings by having a friend teleport to you while standing near NPC "desks" or whatever you might want to call it. In fact, most of my friends role play by glitching inside buildings with no NPC's.
+KatKubed Gaming If I'm correct, you actually teleport to a friend (or have a friend teleport to you) who's walking out of the building.
If you get it right, you or the friend depending on who's teleporting will access the gray area outside of the building. You can walk through the walls and get behind the NPC in the building. It's not as hard as it sounds, trust me.
You fix the glitch by walking back into the part of the room where you're intended to be.
Basically walk to the area that you come into to talk to the NPC standing there.
The thing is, I'm unsure as to whether or not the glitch was fixed.

Hackers actually preferred to hack different textures of gloves than change the DNA, I've been researching hackers (And the only really decent ones are Team Smart)
you should make a mystery video about how a lot of clothing items from tto were removed in clothing shops in ttr unless it's not an actual mystery and I just don't know anything :P
I think the main reason these were removed were because they were unhappy with how the textures were. A lot of the clothing were very blurry and they wanted to get these remade before having them in the game
oh that makes sense. but howcome they still appear in the catalogs? ex: the flippy shirt and recolorings
I believe they removed the Flippy shirt for the most part to limit people from looking like Flippy, but they are still in the catalog. They just didn't remove any clothing from the catalog really afaik
