I used to work for a guy that sent me on errands in his yellow TR6. Never a bad day at work! You're not a weird little blonde! You're a dream come true to a car geek like me. Love British roadsters and almost anything with four wheels that makes noise! Thanks!

That poor car was almost pegged at H when you parked it. You might want to check the coolant level and/or thermostat. That car was running super hot, according to the temperature gauge. A missing the radiator shroud on TR6s, can also cause the car to run hot.

The TR6 is a fun car though the exhaust note on this one doesnt have the same music as compared to other 6cyl British roadsters like the AH3000

I don't think the cell phone captures the sound of this car. Tr6' sound spectacular!

The appeal of this channel is a woman who knows what she likes, especially a young woman, and is not afraid of sharing her excellent taste! Yeah, I love these cars too. BB, you're a smart lady, and just love the cars that you present. Cheers.

I had a 69 TR6 back in the early 70's. I loved it to death! However it had multiple mechanical issues and spent much of it's time in the shop. Just over a year ago I got a 2020 MX-5 Miata soft top to try to recapture the magic of the TR-6. The newer ND Miata's are tremendous sports cars and as dependable as cars come. Still miss an actual TR-6 but I can live without one... I think... maybe. 😁😁

That’s nice! Well that sucks. My grandfather had a 1969 TR6 as well. His was in Damson Red with a black interior. But his was nice but now he has a 1968 Triumph TR5 PI with a surrey top.

Wish I can show you the 1971 TR6 image....Mom looked
good in front of one while Dad photographed. I too had a classic.....1964 MGB Roadster (wire knockoffs). Missed that deep sound.

Thanks for helping to promote these great cars. I have the TR5, which has the same 6-pot engine as the 6. That car was sold in the US on carbs., and called the TR250, but in the UK where emissions law was less strict in the 1960s it ran on fuel injection (PI = Petrol Injection) and developed 150bhp. By the way, there was no production TR1. It's a bit of an odd thing, but the range began with the TR2. Well done again on the film; I look forward ot the next.

Thank you! It's my cup of tea! You might this video.. talks a bit more "TR1" ruclips.net/video/TkEL0Hwp1o4/видео.html

@@BadBlonde-CarHistory Thanks for the link. Another good film. My point was that the pre-production car was never officially designated the "TR1", it was the 20TS. Only a very few of these prototype cars were built for display of concept and testing. As you say in your other film, Ken Richardson was brought in to do the testing and was unimpressed, and so the car underwent some development.
      Anyhow, keep up the videos.

You need to drive a 150bhp fuel injected British spec Tr6. They are a total different animal in both sound, performance and handling. They only exported 100bhp carburettor models to America due to the emissions regulations .
