Sounds like you are going to have a fun Father’s Day weekend. We are just going to hang out around home. One of my favorite Father’s Day memory is watching my dad picking flowers with my daughter when she was young.
Thank you for sharing your story. I also come from a strict Italian family and am grateful for the values both my parents instilled in me. My dad was the kindest, most peaceful man I have ever known and although he left us in 2004, I still miss the silly songs he sang to my daughters, his laughter and the love he showed us every day he was alive 💜
Hi Elayne . . Happy Father's Day to Terry. We are traveling to Wisconsin to visit family and spend Father's Day there with all our wonderful fathers in our family. I have the same kitchen story. I did all the cooking and now that we retired, he has taken over the kitchen. Isn't it great :) Love the Strawberry Tiered Tray. Ohh you just called my name. THANK YOU SO MUCH !
Enjoyed the video, Elaine. Love your new idea of monthly mystery boxes! Patriotic designs from your shop are lovely. Fave Dad memories were childhood water skiing in the Adirondacks every summer. He spent the day in the motorboat pulling all of my siblings and I water skiing twice dsily times 9 children!!!
I love your video and loved hearing about your father. My husband doesn't want to do anything for Father's Day. He said he wants a quiet day. I will take him to breakfast as that is our normal routine Sunday mornings. Our youngest son will come see him tomorrow. Have a wonderful weekend!
I too had a great Dad, I miss him so. I don't hardly know how to choose a favorite memory. But, is say making homemade ice cream with him. This was , to him an occasion and marked that it was indeed a special day!
We’ll have a yummy dinner and go to my parent’s house for dessert. I’m so grateful for my husband, dad and father in law for the wonderful fathers they are!
My memories about my father was during Christmas. He didn’t have money for gifts to give us, so he make sure we have our tradition Mexican Christmas Dinner and to make it fun, he would get his guitar out and start to sign Christmas songs and have us join in. Then he would start telling us stories about when he was a little boy. We didn’t have gifts but my dad gave us what it was in his hands and that was giving us a great time. Now I share his memories he left us with our children and grandchildren. As for Father’s Day, we will grill and with all the side dishes including dessert.
Love your memory of your father. This will be the second fathersday without him 😢. So many beautiful memories with him. Sunday I will watch soccer, European championships Holland against Poland
Wonderful video. So many wonderful memories of my father so hard to think of just one. He did though enjoy my piano playing and would often come in and play a duet of heart and soul with me.
Love your videos thank you!! Enjoy Father’s Day weekend with Terry. I also grew up in an Italian household but we lived in Brooklyn NY. The beach was always a big part of our lives. Being at the beach is what we loved. Also my dad loved fishing. So we would go out to LI & go crabing & claming. My parents retired to Emerald Isle NC which again is right on the beach & our 3 boys loved being with them as well. My dad lived with us in FL the last 2 years of his life & it was wonderful. The smell of the salt air & the feel of the sand under my feet will always be wonderful memories of my dad ❤
My daddy is not around anymore but loved going to his house. He had a pool and we go to swim and BBQ. Spend a great time. Going to one of our daughters house for Father’s Day.
For this Father's Day weekend, we took our kids and granddaughters out on our boat to our Yacht Club (which is an island in the California Delta) . We BBQ'd , swam and enjoyed the beautiful California sunshine, with our family. ❤
Loved hearing your memories of your father. This Father's Day our family is going out to eat together. Not everyone will be able to join us but 13 of us will. Small Italian family. Lol
We usually celebrate with a cookout. This year. We will be heading for the beach on Monday so we will celebrate Father's Day at the beach. Missing my dad. It's always a day to remember those Fathers that have passed
My sweet dad continued on his life journey 14 years ago. I work in the healthfield when I visited him he would rub my feet for me. It takes a special dad to do that. I miss him so much. All my love dad.
No plans for the weekend. One of my favorite memories of my dad is piling in the car with my brother and sister on weekends to go pony shopping. My dad would search the classifieds and then take us out to look at ponies. We bugged my dad for a pony and we eventually found one! We couldn't wait to get him home. My mother was not thrilled! 😂❤️🪡
I am so glad I found your Flosstube. Very enjoyable. One of my favorite memories of my dad: Daddy was a musician and was the head of the music department at a small private university. When were were kids and had to somewhere as a family, he always got ready really early and then would sit down and play his clarinet or the piano for us while we got ready. This year Father's Day falls on his birthday. We lost him in 1998, but Father's Day would have been his 98th birthday.
We plan to have a barbecue for my husband with our two children. I am looking forward to it. I already have the cake made! I loved hearing about your story about growing up in an Italian household. So did I! I am sorry that my children didn't get the same experience since we lived a long way from my family and extended family. Buona festa del Papà a Terry!
My dad is my Marine Corp hero, mentor and best friend. He was a food service manager of a private college in Clearwater Florida and was scheduled to retire at the end of the spring semester of 2014. His lunch cook retired at the end of the fall semester and I had the privilege of working as his cook for that final semester before he retired. We spent the weekdays in the kitchen feeding 600 college students and the weekends at the beach on Honeymoon Island. Dad & I grew really close during those few months and to this day, we still relive those memories and cherish every minute we spend together.
Love your new charts. I am the oldest of 6 kids and almost everyone will be at the cookout with Dad and Mom that we’re having for Father’s Day. We will have close to 25 attending. Fun times🤗
My father has passed away but celebrate with my brother, nephews being fathers. My memory of dad is when we go on family trips every summer or winter visiting family in Colorado or Texas.
So loved your sharia about your dad - the last year at home and all the time you shared and that he told you to “come home” from college…I’m not religious but all of that was something in the above and beyond knowing and gifting you that special time with him. It made me cry because I never got anything like that when my oldest brother suddenly passed nor with my mother who had Alzheimer’s dementia the last decade of her life and now my father is living in a long term care facility and slowly disintegrating in all ways in front of me via FaceTime (if lucky) once a week. Treasure your memories. ❤
Elayne I loved hearing your sweet and tender story of your dad. You are blessed to have had such a wonderful father and how wonderful that your both were able to express your love for each other before he died. So may others have lovely memories as well. My dad chose not to be in my life and I had to find out his passing by googling his name. But I had the best mother on the planet and a loving grandfather and I married a man that is a marvelous father to our kids. I marvel at their relationships and I’m grateful. ( He will get lots of pampering and a big batch of cinnamon rolls on Sunday ◡̈ ). Elayne you are designing some really cute charts!!! That strawberry bowl is adorable! Headed to your Etsy shop today. Thanks for your wonderful floss tube.
No plans for Father's Day except going to church. My dad and husband passed a few years ago. I have such great memories of my dad but the one I thought was so funny was I got up and took him a surprise for Father's Day. I had baked him a cake and everything. Come to find out I was the one that got surprised. He wasn't home. My stepmom had taken him out for breakfast and the day.
I think my favorite Father's Day was the first year was my husband's first fathers Day. He is such a great dad to our 5 kids. My dad didn't like to celebrate Fathers Day so my memories are with my husband now my son being great dads!
My family still laughs about my dad shaking every greeting card he received, looking for the dollar that he believed should be in each one…he’s been gone to glory 18 years next month…just my sister and I now and we miss him terribly! One precious man in a household of four females- we were so blessed to have him as our father.
I don’t think I have a favorite memory around Father’s Day with my Dad or my husband. My Dad has been gone 10 years, but the one thing I remember about me dad was his random pearls of wisdom. Daddy was a hard worker, and mom directed us kids, but one in a while Daddy would just share a thought. For my husband, we often attended the Father’s Day BBQ picnic at the church after services, then he could come home and “be spiritual “ , aka take a nap. Happy Father’s Day
For Father's Day I would always make my daddy a homemade pie. His favorite was coconut cream, and I actually got it down to a pretty good pie, complete with meringue! He's no longer here, but I may need to make a pie...
My father has passed away in 2015. My favorite memory was working in the gardens with him. He had a green thumb. My only brother passed away last December, he has three teenagers. I will probably do something with them.
We always go to church followed by BBQ. My favorite memory of my dad was the day he helped save two peoples lives. We came across a horrible car accident that just happened dust flew in the air as we rounded the big curve. I knew he had medic training in the military but had never seen him go into action. We were there until the ambulances left with both females. Dad gave orders as he was saving one and I followed to a T. My dad is now 86 soon to be 87 and is my hero still.
Oh my goodness, that patriotic piece with the waving flags is absolutely beautiful and will be in my cart soon. Thank you and your daughter for these beautiful designs. Unlike you, I just lost my father three months ago. What a great dad he was. So sorry your dad was gone so early but glad you got to spend that time with him. My dad was 94 years old. He was a great cut-up and one of my favorite times with daddy was when my mother would go to the grocery store, daddy and my sister and I would stay in the car and daddy would pretend to be a reporter on the street and would interview my sister and me with all kinds of questions. So we were never bored waiting on mama and sprint great time with our dad. Now dealing with mother and dementia. Awful brain disease. All she wants to know is where daddy is. They were married 68 years. I had a wonderful home growing up and am blessed by God to have a very loving dad and mom. ❤️
Wow Lake George that is around a 6 hour drive from where I live in Western NY and only around 1 1/2 from where are son lives so I could maybe I can make that one!! My hubby will be golfing with our oldest son who will be driving home tomorrow with his fiancé. I will be hosting dinner after for a small group after. My Dad passed away 25 years ago this November and I have so many wonderful memories of him as we were very close. Have a wonderful week.
My dad was a golfer there at the Hendersonville Country Club back in the day I can remember his lime green pants and plaids! He was a Pabst blue ribbon drinker and enjoyed cooking and playing cards. He died kinda early at 68ys old. Now that I’m 67 I think I hope that’s not hereditary! Lol No plans with hubby. Maybe cookout.
Wow! I don't believe I've ever caught one of you flosstubes though I've purchased from your shop. What a lovely video, so kind, at the end I felt as if I'd been to the spa! My father was so good at treating like a princess, though never spoiled, and he had high expectations. But, I knew he loved me . My dad also loved the ocean, and would take me deep sea fishing. Thanks for the memories😊.
Glad Terry is back with you so you don’t starve. 😊 My dad died when I was 16, so I missed out on enjoying him as a young adult and into my adult years. However, I learned by the way he lived his life to be loving, kind, gentle, generous, patient, and to put others first. Because of his engineering studies, he was a perfectionist and encouraged his children to strive for excellence. He loved God and taught me to love God. I’m so thankful.
My dad died when I was a teenager. About a week or two before he died, the two of us went out to dinner together. That never happened before, and I think my mom must have been out with my other siblings somewhere. I'll never forget that time alone with him before he was gone. Hearing your story about your dad reminds me so much of my own. Hope you and Terry enjoy your lunch!
We celebrate Father's Day in November. Usually I cook something and then we try to go for a walk to the woods or play board games or do something together with whole family.
My father passed away 14 years ago but always remember him walking every morning at 4 am , he always brought dog bones for the neighbors dogs. My son tried to get up and walk with him one morning and Grampy whooped his butt.
We are having a cookout for my husband and dad. My dad was in the military, so when I think of my dad I always smell shoe polish from him always buffing his boots
This year will be my first Father’s Day with out my daddy yes I’m 40 something and I called him daddy . My dad really stepped up for me and became my son’s father figure as well . My ex husband was never a dad to my son and my dad took that role . I love him so much it’s been 6 months with out him and it’s been very hard . My son just graduate. From high school and last year Father’s Day weekend was my sons senior pictures and I got a picture of my dad tying my son’s tie so I will always cherish that photo forever #happymail
Lots of memories with my Dad, but one of my favorites was just before he walked me down the aisle on my husband’s & my wedding day. I met, dated, got engaged to, & married my husband in a different state- I had moved from Illinois to Texas due to my job. We only dated for about 4 months before we got engaged and married at only knowing each other for 10 months. So Mom & Dad did not meet my husband until they came for the wedding. So they didn’t really know him very well. I knew he was a keeper, but they didn’t. Anyway, just before we started down the church aisle, Dad looked at me very seriously, and said something like, “You know, if it doesn’t work out or if he doesn’t treat you right, you can always move back home.” Dad’s been gone for about 15 years now, but I miss him and Mom very much. Hubby & I will celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary in October. I am married to one the best men in the whole wide world!
I have no plans for Father’s Day. My dad passed in 2000. It was unexpected and I was devastated. He was my encourager and rock my entire life. It took several years to get over it. He and my mom usually rented a beach house on Balboa Island in Orange County CA for the month of July. He had built a small sailboat back in the day and would take us sailing one at a time. He taught my brothers and sister to sail. I just enjoyed being a passenger. He also built a paddle board that looks nothing like today’s boards but we had fun on that. The sailboat could also be used as a row boat so occasionally we would row around the island. My dad wasn’t with us this one time when we rowed around the island and we got caught in a Republican Party boat regatta when Ronald Reagan was running for President. As time went on, he bought a catamaran. He loved to sail. When I was in college, I would meet him at his office for a visits. My dad meant to much to me and I still miss him and my mom a lot.Enjoy Father’s Day with Terry.
My Father's day memory is not the best of memories. We lost our 26 yr old son to brain cancer on Father's Day 2006. We try to have a low key day on this day.
Love the programs cross stitch but can’t afford thanks to inflation and Bidennomics retirement money gone rent when from 1130. To just under 1700. Stuck
Congratulations to the winners!!!
Always love your video's. Love my father for being the gentle and understanding man that he is!
Thanks for your father's day memories, very sweet. My sweetest memories is just giving my dad a special dad and lots of attention.
Sounds like you are going to have a fun Father’s Day weekend. We are just going to hang out around home. One of my favorite Father’s Day memory is watching my dad picking flowers with my daughter when she was young.
Thank you for sharing your experience and joy

My oldest son and I have been on a 2-week RV trip. We come home on Father’s Day. I jokingly say we are the present 😂
I just loved your story about your dad. I lost my father 2 years ago before Christmas, and I think of him every day. Thank you so much for sharing.❤

Thank you for sharing! No big plans for the weekend. Just relaxing and enjoying the family.
I just ordered your new simple sampler. I love the vintage look of it. I live 45 miles from Lake George. It is a beautiful area! God bless you.
We’ll have a yummy dinner and go to my parent’s house for dessert. I’m so grateful for my husband, dad and father in law for the wonderful fathers they are!
I loved going into my dad’s woodworking shop. He would make me all kinds of things like a cradle for my dolls or decor cut outs to paint.
My memories about my father was during Christmas. He didn’t have money for gifts to give us, so he make sure we have our tradition Mexican Christmas Dinner and to make it fun, he would get his guitar out and start to sign Christmas songs and have us join in.

I LOVE your Anabellas cross stitches! You are AMAZING!
Awwww thank you! My daughter and I appreciate that!
Loved hearing your memories of your father. This Father's Day our family is going out to eat together. Not everyone will be able to join us but 13 of us will. Small Italian family. Lol
Thank you for the birthday wishes and shout out, Elayne! 😊❤

In loving the Strawberries!!
My dad lives in Arizona and my husband works Sunday so I will be cheering on kids at sports
I remember when I was little, every night, sitting on my dad’s lap while he read the “funnies” to me from the newspaper.
For Father's Day, our kids are building a roof over our deck for their dad! Praying the weather cooperates. 😊
I am so glad I found your Flosstube. Very enjoyable. One of my favorite memories of my dad: Daddy was a musician and was the head of the music department at a small private university. Thank you and I'm happy you are here!
Hi Elayne, Hope you both you have a great weekend. I am having everyone over Father’s Day, just to enjoy each others company.
My dad has been gone over 40 years now, but I can still see him enjoying a cup of coffee sitting at his picnic table under an apricot tree.
Charleston is one of my favorite cities as well. Can’t wait for the retreat to come up. 😊
We are going to the Orioles game on Father’s Day, my husband loves that. Great Patriotic charts Elayne!
Hi happy Friday. I've always liked your hair cut like it is . Thanks for being on.
My dad is my Marine Corp hero, mentor and best friend. He was a food service manager of a private college in Clearwater Florida and was scheduled to retire at the end of the spring semester of 2014. I love that he is your hero! xo
My favorite memory of my father is spending one on one time with him on the boat on Lake Erie. We would go for the weekend and fish
Good Morning, Elayne!
Good morning!
Spending time with him ...memory
Love your new charts. I am the oldest of 6 kids and almost everyone will be at the cookout with Dad and Mom that we’re having for Father’s Day. We will have close to 25 attending. Fun times🤗

We are having dinner together for Fathers Day. My Dad requested my Moms homemade spaghetti sauce for dinner.
For the Father’s Day weekend celebration, our family camps and participates in an archery shoot in the scenic Pipestone Valley.
For Father's Day I'll be giving my Dad a call and then I'll be spending the rest of the day stitching.

The plans for Father’s Day was to drive home from stitch con. My husband drove into Columbus on Friday to visit with his dad who is 92!
Crawfish picnic on the porch on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain for Father’s Day this year! The price of mud bugs finally dropped🎉
❤❤❤
For Father’s Day we will be having a bbq and pool party 🎉
My father passed away 14 years ago but always remember him walking every morning at 4 am , he always brought dog bones for the neighbors dogs. My son tried to get up and walk with him one morning and Grampy whooped his butt.
My husband does 90% of our cooking and baking as well.
Aren't we lucky?
We are having a cookout for my husband and dad. My dad was in the military, so when I think of my dad I always smell shoe polish from him always buffing his boots
We are having a family dinner!
Thank you for sharing elayne❤
This year will be my first Father’s Day with out my daddy yes I’m 40 something and I called him daddy . My dad really stepped up for me and became my son’s father figure as well . My ex husband was never a dad to my son and my dad took that role . I love him so much it’s been 6 months with out him and it’s been very hard . My son just graduate. From high school and last year Father’s Day weekend was my sons senior pictures and I got a picture of my dad tying my son’s tie so I will always cherish that photo forever #happymail
So sorry Wendy. xo
My father was, and always will be, my daddy. xo
We will probably BBQ at home for my son. My dad died in the 80's.
My plans were to to my daughters & her husband! Have no favorite memories for Father’s Day ! Dad died when I was 5!
I never knew my dad but I raised4 wonderful boys and we will do a bbq with them
my dad used to have me help him work on his car. I would stomp on the brakes to bleed the brakes. lol
Wow! I love that!
Lovely memories
My plans isn’t really Fathers Day related. Went to CA to see my daughter graduate from UC Davis with her PhD in Plant Biology.
No plan’s for Fathers Day.

Hi. I subscribe to your 12 monthly mini prescription boxes and not sure I received my invoice for July. How to I check that out? Thank you.
Your credit card statement would be a good place to start or send us an email
My Father's day memory is not the best of memories. We lost our 26 yr old son to brain cancer on Father's Day 2006. We try to have a low key day on this day.
I am so sorry. xo
For Father’s Day he will get breakfast in bed ……this is my husband…
Love the programs cross stitch but can’t afford thanks to inflation and Bidennomics retirement money gone rent when from 1130. To just under 1700. Stuck
