Wtf?! lol In his defense, he was ADHD personified... sang me to sleep many a night as a wee one, playing guitar and singing as Elvis, Bob Dylan, Ricky Nelson, etc .... but I'll be DAMNED if he EVER completed a song! Lol "wait a minute, wait a minute..." 😂 So I tried time & again... (I just really wanted him on board, as this was the spring?/ summer that Ren was releasing a song a week. The excitement was so palpable!) So i brought up his guitar skills, didn't stick... the final time I asked, we were texting, and i said "Dad, i know I'm making you crazy with this Ren guy lol, but I haven't felt like this about an artist since.... Bowie? Since I don't know when..." THEN he listened (To both of us, lol) He loved him, btw... i lost my dad abruptly in November after that summer & i clung to Fred Again Mashup by Ren during my mourning. It just let me feel, but also helped me kinda "escape" the pain... i don't know exactly how to explain it. I'm in shock how long I wrote! Omg! I'd say sorry, but it was quite cathartic, actually! But, I do hope you forgive my rambling!😂🫶 I just loved how you stated your feelings, i love how his music truly does connect us all in some way or another❤

You are right. Money is a concept, but you need money to make money. Labour will only get you so far until you burn out, while having money opens investment and loan opportunities that you didn't have before. Unless you get an inheritance or win the lottery, you are pretty much stuck where you are unless some miraculous happens. This is why I always say that everyone should start their own business. If it fails, fine. At least you tried. Heck, my friends and I opened a mac n' cheese fast food joint because there was a gap in the market, and it did well until the pandemic. We tried and left a little richer with a tonne of experience of how to run a business.

The quality is rarely any better for the $500 sweater. As they say you are paying for the name ONLY. The name brands use to mean quality, now it means cutting corners as sharp and cheap as possible. Except Ren's clothing line is high quality. 😊
