Tell that to the Republicans. Every time election finance reform comes up, the Republicans refuse to get money out of politics. Look up the “citizens united” decision, which makes it possible for foreign governments to donate money to presidential candidates through super PACs that don’t have to divulge where they get their money from. But sometimes they still get caught, just like when the NRA was caught taking $20 million to use in support of Donald Trump‘s 2016 election! Citizens united decision was completely Republican. so don’t just talk the walk, walk the walk!
