Nice hotel, but personally I have stayed in Kho San Road only 2 times in 30 years of visiting Thailand, for decades it has been poorly served by transit that is changing now, plus this area is so out of the way I cant understand why anyone stayed in this part besides relatively inexpensive hotels and all westerns converging there. Like the Fusion Suites, great hotel Central location, you save money on Tuk Tuks and taxi's paying a bit more and less stress. . Gr8 video
Love the Asoke area and IconSiam... But I have only stayed in the Asoke. I'd like to see any monthly options you might bump into. I used Agoda and tried to average 600B after the cv19 opening. I hear Bangkok has tried doubling their rates. I'm in Pattaya, Jomtiem area and find there are reasonably priced monthlies without annual contract. Currently I have a 10k one block off the water with a great view.
Pattaya prices are a little more reasonable I think in comparison to Bangkok. Yes hotel prices in Bangkok are much higher no than before. I remember I used to rent 5 star hotels for about $40-$50 per night, now those hotels are going for $200 per night. Crazy how much they have gone up
The second place is amazing. $62 including a full breakfast buffet is fantastic value. If I’m running a $4k+ budget for the month while in Bangkok I’d absolutely stay there. Do you think they’d have a discounted rate for a month stay?
Very impressive Hotel Rooms Julian. When Im in BKK i usually stay around Nana/Asok Area and try to keep the Hotel expenses to $50 USD per night or below. I never knew of these 3 Hotels... so thx! Back in Nov i decided to splurge on a Hotel that was about $90 USD per night in the Nana Area and they made me put down a 3000THB deposit. A little steep i thought. Id be just as happy in one of these 3 Hotels as they are a far better deal over all. Hope you are enjoying BKK and great to see you doing more Vids !
@@THAILANDCLIPS I stayed at the IBIS Hotel in BKK and its on Soi 4 down the Street from Nana Plaza. It was $90 USD per night with the 3000 THB deposit i mentioned. There is a cheaper IBIS Hotel on the same Soi 4 but this IBIS i stayed at was in the same building as the NOVOTEL. I think one side is IBIS and other side is NOVOTEL. Strange setup, i know. If you search Online for it go thru the photos. It has a beautiful Rooftop Pool and Bar. Rooms are nice too. I just prefer paying $40-$50 USD to be honest. Majestic Suites is a great no frills Hotel $45 USD on Sukhumvit and Soi 4 that is one of my favs. I think the 3 you showed were a little better though. Check em out, see what you think
Thanks for sharing. I stayed at the Alt Hotel Nana and the Hotel Solo, which is close to nightlife area. Those hotels were great deal a couple years ago. Currently they are going for around $50 USD
@@THAILANDCLIPS Back about 10 years ago Majestic Suites was going for around $32 USD per night and had breakfest included. Also, their sister property down the road, the Majestic Grande, allowed you to use their Pool and Gym for free. The Gym was fantastic. Unfortunately, there is no more free breakfeast and no agreement to use the Majestic Grande facilities anymore

Hopefully price will stay down going into future. Not sure about monthly rates, you'd have to call them and see

Any recommendations for reasonably priced hotels in Bangkok? Maybe around $50-$100 per night

Besides for the pool... you can't beat 62 bucks a night.
:]
OK I'm loving the last room ❤
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! :]
Khao San Road is full of tourists. Like 90% of them are Westerners. I just don't understand why they had to go there.
Can still get a room for 80 bt but that's my secret.
:]
rather expensive, there are many more cheaper hotels
Please share some good options, I may be able to check them out in future
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🇹🇭🇹🇭
