I was wondering if a bow build would work with the new class. Didn't think it'd be this good. Thank you so much for showing us this. I just pray ESO doesn't nerf the class so much and make it a meh mess like they did to Wardens at one point in time.
Nice. I also went with the "Bowcanist" for my first Arcanist build. I don't have access to all the extras yet (Psijic, Alliance skills), but so far this is a very survivable and strong dps build. Think I will go with Deadly and Forest Wraith when I get to level 50.
hack youre a genius! everytime i see a new build i immediately say this is going to be broken af XD loveing this build just finished leveling it but even leveling it was fun.
The biggest problem with using a bow on the arcanist is the bow skill line’s best passive relies entirely on light attack weaving (or at least light weaving once every 5 seconds flawlessly) so you lose a lot of damage from the back bar bow skills by not keeping up the eagle eye passive. Basically the only bow passive that is doing much here is the crit chance unfortunately.
@@GeminiJokes Dual wield has two passives that affect all of your damage. 2h has two as well, but one of them has the heavy attack condition on it. Destro staff has the increased status effect chance and then either increased single target or increased aoe damage. Dual wield is the only weapon type with passives that affect pretty much ALL damage (especially with the crit chance from daggers affecting status effect damage, enchant damage, and all aoe and single target damage as well). Dual wield has by far the best passives.

Brp dual wield feels really good on the one bar arcanist since light attacks dont really matter that much for the class (plus they got extended range this patch so there is even more wiggle room). I tried out the bow when I first started my arcanist on the PTS and hated how the bow quiver disappears every time you use the beam. That detail alone was awful. Templar jabs and other class skills often do the same thing and it is super obnoxious

I'm wondering Hack The Minotaur if the Solo Magicka Necromancer Vampire is still a good build to do from your video. Also how it compares to another's build who goes by the name of Lucky Ghost & his Hard to kill, High Damage Solo Vampire Necromancer. Do you think it is possible to do a video or a look at it to see if certain abilities used in his would better fit some of yours use or if I were to use his which of yours would fit better?
Riptide coral with 30% stam is the best set with deadly (or nirn but small aoe so tricky proc). Maybe u can run Sulxan for crit or Ansuul for dmg (velothi must have)
It does seem to not cater as well to a bow/bow build. You could have just as easily went with DW/bow, which I imagine would outperform it, without changing a single skill.
I have an idea I want to share with the community.... The worldwide merger bringing eu & na pvp players together removing the broken server & having a matchmaking mode that would put you or your group into one of your alliance servers mixing up the entire pvp community allowing a better and fairer experience with equal numbers being distributed in each server, this way we would be fighting random players from across the world rather than the same 300 every day. making the game experience far more evenly matched and enjoyable, As most days eu greyhost has an enormous difference in number of players in each alliance.this creates multiple problems. The emperor run would be far more exiting also with more people fighting for it. show the pvp community some love

Almost every passive of weapons are the same. Every one of them have very similar perks

Yeah but bow feels good and plays well with the arcanist, DW doesn't in my experience, these are not dummy humper builds

Have you tried your rotation without the Bow stuff? You're most likely losing out in a lot of DPS by wasting time on all the non-Arcanist abilities.

But you dont even use bow skills... that 2 you use, actually replacable with any weapon aoe and dot skill. This is not really a bow build.
