This is insane. Few years ago, battery removal required only a fingernail. This is just complete madness.

Lol you're going to break the display sticking that tool in there like that. Just use heat and a old credit card next time
Old credit card is an excellent idea for people who dont have this flat tool. Not sure if it will be sturdy enough for the job. I also dont think 100% that the display can be damaged as there is the metal frame between the display and the space the battery reside. The point with maximum pressure is on the inside of the battery pushing upward theres no force being exerted on the inside of the compartment where the battery sit. the only place on the frame there may be pressure is the side where the tool has been inserted and even then I always try to make sure to keep a gap between the flat metal tool and the frame.

@@ersbit oh ok in the past there was nothing in between the display and the lcd. I repair phones also and i use an old credit card. I bend it and get it in there without damaging anything.
If i replace my battery from samsung service center did it effect on ip rating
Please call them. They may have the tools to reinstate IP68.
I don't have the 100% true answer.
@@ersbit but try can do it or not and it possible for them to give ip rating back because this water resistance not waterproof if new phone get water damage and replace phone got damage so how we check ip rating
