He got involved with drugs and a lot of his friends got him into trouble (Like one of them shot and killed a guy at a fight.) He even got sent to jail for breaking probation and failing a drug test. That’s when he was kicked out of his own band Escape the Fate and when he started this band FiR (: So that part with his mom is completely literal. It’s heartbreaking but also super empowering. He didn’t need his mother to get to where he is now. He may have struggled his way here but he did it without her and he should be damn proud of himself for the dad that he is to Willow.
When he was in Escape the Fate, his lyrics are "Mother, where are you today? You took a piece of me the day you went away No recollection nor the smell of your perfume I took a piece of you the day I left the womb." I dont know what kind of woman she was/is but, who the fuck would abandon their children?!
