    What a marvelous interview between twp friends who discuss a lifetime of memories. Wonderful to dee maestro mehta in good form and look forward to listening to his beethoven cycle.

    What a lovely interview given by a great man! Genuine humility and a wealth of anecdotes about classical music, legendary musicians whom he knew personally; and great performances, which he experienced first-hand.

    Music here is always linked to a patriotic association. Hence,anything different has to overcome this concept and treat Music as a science.

    I remember going to the concert at Royal Albert Hall, London in 1969 or 1970 (I do not remember exactly), which featured Yehudi Menuhin and Ravi Shankar and conducted by maestro Zubin Mehta. It was wonderful.
