So this is a perfect example of what is called a wig-wag in glassblowing. It's a series of 'reversals'...

I notice when you switched the spirals direction that your work was kinda undoing as you worked round and you had to redo several parts, it might be worth pinning as you start the switch to hold pleats in place until you get all the way around.
Great work though, the shirt looks awesome.

Im using forcep ,, and a diy tool made up of stainless rod, it helps me to split the pleats easily..
