I was looking for Sunhans's reviews in RUclips. I liked a lot your review. I subscribed and give thumbs up for the video. My all suspicions are gone after watching this. I can buy Sunhans product witouth any fear now. Thanks a lot :) (Sorry about grammar i am not native English speaker)
I don't understand how a booster can help a better reception. Boosters are useful on transmitters, not on receivers. It proportionally amplifies both signal and noise picked up by your antenna, so that your SNR is unchanged.
Outdoors? Hilarious... Mount that thing outdoors and it will last until it rains... Not blowing you away but more than a 10 times speed increase... from 0.3 to a peak of 8... lol
@@asif1478 I am using this tutorial for boosting tx power of it in linux. But i read something about Alfa cards in some tech forums. Somebody measured the Alfa nh's real tx power and Alfa cards are not powerful like they advertised(1000mw or 2000mw)Maybe they are(who measures the tx power) wrong or missed something but i can't trust regular wifi cards anymore. Wifi signal boosters like Sunhans give me more confidence.
@@asif1478 The tutorial i send you working for me, actually when i type iwconfig i see the 30dbm. It is a good thing and it seems to work. But it dont give me enough confidence because of what i read in forums. I will drop a link if can find it.
After a few weeks of using the booster off and on with the Alfa adapter, I would say that although it adds a bit more range and speed, it's not so spectacular that it justifies an extra $40 for the booster. But I'm glad I have it because it does seem to help penetrate through walls better too. I didn't go into that in the video because I hadn't thought about it at the time. I may do a follow up later on though. Anyway, if your requirements aren't so crazy, I'd skip it. Just go with the adapter, skip the booster.
I've owned the AWUS036NEH and bought the AWUSO36NH for a long range set-up for my dad. They both use Ralink chipset and drivers. At that time that was the best available, but after using the AWUS036NHA I prefer it to previous versions of Alfa adapters because it uses an Atheros chipset which I've found to work _much_ better in general. The AWUSo36NH has sensitivity of around -71dbm while the 036NHA has a sensitivity of -91dbm (much better for weaker signals). Also, other Alfa adapters I've owned, including the AWUS036NEH, tend to drop a lot more and TX rate is all over the place whereas the AWUS036NHA's TX rate is way more stable. Given the choice, I'd go with the AWUS036NHA.
@@ThePromisedWLAN Hi bother, thanks you for your support of Sunhans. Our amplifiers are tested in the lab with walls that can still amplify the signal better. Maybe you need a more powerful amplifier instead of 2.5W

The hottest unboxing video on RUclips.

Nice video, did you check what chip is used there?
You were supposed to set the txpower output on your wifi adapter to 13dBm
With these you need 3 watts or better.
Get that baby on the roof and watch them speeds go UP
Which is best for long range wifi hacking.
Awus036nha or Awus036nh

Which wifi is best without any boosters awus036nha or awus036nh?
I think nha has more reliable chipset.(atheros ar9271)
