I went to go see the show in October for my birthday. I cried at the beginning and at the end because we had to leave. Absolutely amazing, definitely go and see you you get the chance
I am so glad you got to see the show! It’s such a great show! Ahh the feels for getting to just be in “the room where it happens”. We agree! Go see the show if you can!
I was at the show Saturday night and these performers were AMAZING! I was worried I wasn't going to be able to break free from the original cast but I was surprised how quickly I forgot about them :D KIDDING! After the show, we waited outside the stage door and the cast greeted the crowd as they left for the night. No autographs due to COVID, but they let us know in no uncertain terms what our enthusiasm meant to them. I actually "fist-bumped" Miguel as he passed us so I got to touch A. Ham! My BFF and I traveled from Chicago to NYC just to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime experience and we were not disappointed. Thank you, Lin, for this amazing work of art! Thank you NYC cast 2022 for your passion, pride, and perseverance through this trying time. I hope it was as worth it for you as it was for us! WE LOVE YOU ALL!
That makes a lot of sense It is always a gamble when you’re seeing a different cast then you are used to. I am glad that you enjoyed it and that the cast was wonderful for you. So awesome that you got to come up from Chicago and fist bump with A. Ham! Thank you for the Beatifil words and kindness!
But Jonathan Groff should be King Charles FOREVER! He should be crowned the King of Broadway. I may even go to to Matrix 4 just to see him (but probably not). Bad career choice, Jonathan. Bring back MINDHUNTER.
This is so good to hear. I want to see it again so badly, but I saw the OBC in 2016 and wasn't sure any cast could compare. I was pregnant with my daughter when the cast recording came out. We jammed to it in the car on the way to my OB appts. Oak's voice cut through all the inside noise and she would kick the crap out of me when ever he would scream "When you knock me down I get the f*ck back up again." Took the train down from Boston to see it when I was VERY preganant. She kicked the crap out of me at the exact same point in the show. Now she's 5 and it's still our jam. I'm not a mom who gets too worked up about the bad words in the name of good art. I'm going to take her next year. By most accounts, she's a little young, but it's our jam.
@@Nickabod79 That is such a great story! She knows what’s up! That is a great part! We had the same thing happen with our little girl for Waitress. We went to it when Leigh was very pregnant with her and she loved the music. Then she loved it when she was born as well and it was the music that would always calm her down and help her sleep. She loved “soft place to land”. So excited for you to be able to take her! I hope she loves it! It is such a great jam!
They were wonderful and Mandy was AMAZING! Such a strong cast that they has assembled! Excited for you that you get to go in December! The city is amazing that time of year!
Thank you for sharing this! We were at the reopening of Hamilton SF and it was unforgettable and soooo emotional! Can’t wait to get back to broadway next month! Just found your channel and click that sub hella quick! Love good old broadway lovin content! Great job and thanks again for sharing! Xoxo #yourbroads

Would absolutely love to see this in person. Have seen the Australian production a few months back, but the price of admission would just be worth seeing James Monroe Iglehart. I’m sure he was just as fantastic as he was as the Gene in Aladdin.
You are absolutely correct, well said! He was wonderful and brought something new and fresh to the role! We truly enjoyed seeing him in this role! He was a huge standout in this cast. Love his work and what he brings to the stage!
@@WeAreHereBroadway glad to hear! I checked the website to see who the lead role was as Alexander, but saw James was in the cast and thought omg it’s the Genie lol.
@@kyden_bored2544 that makes sense! It’s always something we have to save up for and they are pricey! There are so many great ways to get tickets at a great price. A lot of shows are talking through their lottery or rush policies coming back online. We always watch for those as well.
Yes! So excited for you! Can’t wait to hear more about it! Have an amazing time and if your into street Tacos make sure to check out Los Tacos #1 it is our favorite pre show dinner.
Sorry we missed your comment, they have been making regular cast member changes and it is best to check the website as well as follow them on social for the most up to date changes.
This is the current Broadway cast. This was the curtain call for their first night back on Broadway. We found a full list of the cast on the Hamilton website. It was an amazing cast.
I didn't realize target sponsored the spotlights on stage. that's cool.
Ha ha ha! We thought that too! It was so funny.
i've been bingewatching the reopenings and getting emotional all over again. the great white way is BACK baby!!
Right?! It felt like forever. But now all is well in the world again. Broadway is back!

I can’t tell you how many times I cried that week. I’m so happy Broadway is back!
Us too! So many times! So much energy in that room!
Miguel has been the most fantastic Hamilton of any of the casts I've seen so far tbh. he's incredible
He truly is wonderful! We really enjoyed him as well! He is Incredible! He brings so much to the character. Well said!
He played it here in Chicago for years. He's terrific.
His take on the role was so different than others we've seen, and we loved discovering it through his eyes.
I love Miguel too, but I'm gonna have to say Line my favorite lol
