NOTE: This video was filmed before Arizona went on lockdown, it has been reported that this trail has been closed due to COVID-19.
The Verrado Stairs are pretty new. They consist of about 330 railroad ties of stairs that go straight up the side of the mountain. There is a little loop you can hike along the top as well.

Great hike, multiple trails and beautiful views. There are always plenty of people out and about. Once you get to the top of the steps, you can join several climbing trails (as shown in the video). Its great fun, and one of the many wonderful things about this community!

Great tease. We were there last month, saw it, and will be back in two weeks and WILL do this.
    Can’t wait!

Impressive Alejandro. Steps are an enemy to old knees. Keep doing this when ever you can to make sure you keep the use of your knees when you get old. Take care.

Hey Alejandro. Good to see you out and about. That looks like a ton of steps though! Haha The views are amazing indeed. We're always so amazed at the color of the sky over there. It's a bit grey over here, which makes this whole situation suck a bit more. Hope you're still doing well. Take care.

Don’t go here !! Such a pain to find parking or get a ticket. The worst part is all the scorpions and snakes! I heard someone also hit by the jumping chollas! Stay clear. Not worth it!

Hello Diane, I’ve been there multiple times and never had a problem with parking, it’s been a few weeks, maybe current situation is different. This is also snake season, they are everywhere in Arizona, we just have to be aware and know what to do and how to act if we have an encounter. There are always risks when you go out hiking, thank you for sharing your thoughts.
