  • In this Adventure with Bernie I travel on the wilderness steam train ride, on the rugged West Coast of Tasmania. Included as part of the experience is the opportunity to pan for gold at Lynchford. Unfortunately, some of the railway system was closed for repairs, so I didn't get the full experience I was hoping for. Nonetheless, this region is breathtakingly picturesque, and I highly recommend visiting Tasmania's stunning West Coast.

I never even knew there was a steam train there.
And the last time I went panning for gold was near arrowtown in new Zealand

@@AquariusTraveller Well there you go, that is RUclips success right there. You learnt something from my video 😃
I'm sure NZ provided you with a huge variety of experiences. No panning for me, I wanted to make sure I had a good look around.

Hey Bernie, if you’re still in the area and are looking for something to do the hike out to see the ruins at East Pillinger is awesome, enjoy your time over in Tassie.

@@andydavetouringoz5712 Hey, good to hear from you 😃 Alas, my Tassie adventures only ran from November to April. But thanks for thinking of me.
I intend to be a little more consistent with posting, I have an abundance of footage from here and abroad. So things may dart all over the shop.
Currently working in SE Queensland, in yet another stunning location. Happy and safe travels to you 🙏
