Another great video guys! As a former 7, I agree that Jesus Christ is my rest. When talking to my family and friends who are still in the cult, I often ask them What does going to corporate worship have to do with their idea of "keeping the sabbath"? This question has gotten us further in conversation on the topic. Praise God. Also mentioning to them that I love the weekly sabbath in the sense of, taking a day off to enjoy with my family and not requiring my employees to work more than six days a week, has also made them pause and think. Again furthering the conversation. Having them read Galatians, Hebrews, Romans, and Colossians has certainly been key. Watching them wrestle with the Holy Spirit over new believers not judging and mature believers not condemning has been fruitful. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for all that you guys are doing.
I didn’t come from an SDA denomination but definitely from a 7 denomination. You’re further than me! Not sure if I could ever get my Dad to understand that “going to church on a Saturday” doesn’t mean you’re ‘keeping the Sabbath’. (But never say never). I also think it’s pride. There’s no way he’d be able to accept that something he’s done for so many years may not exactly be what he thinks. Obviously there’s nothing wrong with going to church on a Saturday but acting like everyone else is sinning because they don’t is WILD! 😅
@@nikigracevlogs My wife and I are former 3rd gen 7s (aka SDA). We were about 40 when we started looking into the 7s doctrines vs what the Bible says in context. And it still took about 2 years for us to leave the 7s. They brainwash you pretty good.
As an ex SDA, I can say that a lot of this info such as Jesus not being God (created) or the Holy Spirit having a physical form is not actually what most SDAs believe. It is however interesting that this could be their theology evolving over time to avoid embarassment (like Islam). Any other comments on this would be great.
I attend a nondenominational Sabbath church that have many exSDA members and have gotten to know them very well. I do get tire of people accusing them of being a cult and mixing up SDA with what Jehovahs Witness believe. The members I love, left because they have become roo legalistic in their keeping g of the Sabbath when it has always been a day to rest and give reverance to our Lord. BTW, I also attend service on Sunday, but try to give praise as often as possible.
Not only Islam, I was born and raised Mormon, studied in depth their earliest theology and the timing in which it was taught, rapidly changing and evolving theology within just 10 years from Joseph Smith founding the "church" and leading to his death

@a.c., There isn't a problem with worshipping/resting on the "Sabbath" and being a Christian. Remember that the Sabbath given to Israel was determined by what we call the New Moon. Our calendar today is based on the Sun. So when is the weekly Sabbath according to Scripture? Blessings 🙏🕊️
The problem at heart and the entire reason for many of Paul's letters is the unholy use of the law for salvation. Any law performed out of love and not taught as a condition of salvation is not sinful and you are free to do what your heart urges you to do in that manner. However, the moment Saturday keeping is used as a test of faith, a mark, a condition of someone's salvation is the moment that it becomes a sin. Sda try to side step this delimma by claiming they ONLY do sabbath keeping out of love. This is an obvious lie as they beleive anyone worshiping God on Sunday is an apostate in Babylon and to further complicate their case they beleive in Sunday and Saturday being the test of faith in end times. In short they are telling us that Saturday worship is a condition of salvation and sunday keeping is the act that will condemn the person to death. No amount of Grammer gymnastics will make their belief not a faith plus law keeping system just for this fact. Even their prophetess is quoted saying it is salvation to keep Saturday.

here in southern part of Ethiopia about 90 churches leave SDA and joined a church called berea church ❤❤
