Good review, I think you are spot on, they should go back to the drawing board and use the money saved by ditching the bracelet to fit a better dial and hand set.
The dial is not cheap molded plastic. It looks much better in person. The chapter ring, may be deeply angled but it makes the dial looks much bigger, and the fact that it included one is a plus, they could omit it like some other brands. And for heaven sakes, it's £70 (I got it for less than that), don't expect San Martin quality.
It's a matter of taste of course but horses for courses as they say. It's not really a great looking watch. I've seen better for 70 quid. However ,I'm sure some people will like it of course and Cadisen is a good brand in general. I just think they missed the target with this one.
Agree it really looks better in person. The textured dial has an iridescent sheen that unfortunately does not register well in the camera. Also just got this for around GBP 46 so yeah good price. Bracelet is really jangly tho.

It’s a hell of a deal, but it seems you are getting what you pay for with this one. Like I always say, not everyone can (or want to pay for) afford a SM GS Homage for $275. Thanks for the great review.
Always a tough one with dress watches Zee it’s a different sell market being occasional wear,it looks ok but it wouldn’t get out of my box very often due to my manual job when I’m out somewhere special I drag my 22 year old Seamaster out from another lifetime ago

However, the chapter ring doesn't look right, it's far too deeply angled, makes the watch look like a cake tin. Also , from looking at your video, the dial looks a bit like cheap molded plastic and a failed attempt at GS craftsmanship. If you can't do it right, don't do it at all. I think better is a available for possibly a bit more money of course. For me it's a bad attempt except for the case which I agree is pretty good. Maybe if they forgot about trying to emulate Grand Seiko's masterpiece skills on the dial and made it a plain white, the watch would have looked better.
