Ref did a great job. Treated them like adults for most of the game, but when it started to get out of control, he started slapping those yellows. If he didn't have a bunch of children playing, he wouldn't have to. Red card was deserved, and the the red team's name was appropriate.

Red team are decent at dribbling but serve absolutely no threat in front of goal. I've never seen a player be in such an open position just to smack it sooooo far wide every single time. Finishing practice massively needed. Impact's keeper could've sat down and had no issue whatsoever

Advise for the referee.
When handing out a red card the player loses his privileges of changing clothes by the field. The player should have grabbed his shit and dress outside of the playing area.
The referee should have made sure that before restarting the game after the red card was handed out.
The player has left the field of play and is not standing around.
This could have saved a lot of time and frustrations from both teams.
Best thing to do is at that point to tell the player he has 30 seconds starting now to leave the field. If he chooses not to leave on time abandon the game and by the looks of it there was enough playing time played to consider it a full game
Which means the score is final. Simple solution but works every time.
Dude the orange team had a couple good players but they dived and complained all game. Can't stand teams like that. Black deserved this win 100%
Yup, blatant play acting turns most people off a team. Fair play to the team in black, for most of the 1st half it looked like they were in for a tough match.

The red team had some decent players and build up play with the red player with longer hair being the stand out player. What people are failing to see is the black teams defence were unbreakable at times they had a brilliant defence all the players came back and defended were the red team didn’t track back at all to help.the red team had no defence at all and a bad keeper. The black team keeper saved 10 goals at least. Some discipline and defence and the red team would be dangerous.
The orange team has some skills…….but WAAAAY too emotional.

The red team is clear better then black, and idk if you know but soccer is a non contact sport so, it’s not that they are complaining every time, but its frustrating when the oponent kicks you all game long and the red barely calls for a foult and then also to see how easy they get scored on…

That's the difference in a good keeper and somebody who's just drawn the short straw. Black jerseys had a great defense but wasn't dangerous at any point and only scored due to a poor gk, Orange jerseys had a (somewhat) great offense, but no real defense - but if the keeper would have just the most basic experience, I'd see Orange jerseys winning this 9/10 times.

Yes they're lacking in terms of GK (3 goals from GK error!) and shooting but their dribbles were ok and the black team was pretty aggressive. Even 10 mins in it's clearly a corner for red team but the black team is screaming "Goal kick! Goal kick!" and the ref gives it (probs didn't see it's hard to judge these in the moment!). Right out the gate the black team was being pretty aggressive, then 2nd half red team basically does the same thing black team were doing

So I've watched about 5 minutes of the video and I'm not sure what the rules are to this league. But there's some definite yellow cards that have to be addressed.. Talking only works so much and from the body language of these player's it's not gonna work..

It's incredible have trickerhappy this ref is with his cards. I know some of the tackels are hard, but maybe not a yellowcard for a players first tackel. The redcard totally understandeble! If you talk shit to the ref be ready to go out.
When the game starts to get chippy, if the players aren't listening, yes, pull the cards.
The kick out at 2:25 is a good example. Could have been yellow, but the referee just warned him. Next one basically has to be a card. It doesn't really matter if it's a players first foul or 5th. Sometimes you judge it on the nature of the the foul and/or the temperature of the match.
You are incorrect about the ref being trigger happy. If you watch the IST mens videos, every game goes to shit because the referees are too afraid or incompetent to give cards. If more of these refs gave cards early every game wouldn’t go to shut

It doesn't matter how good the referee is or how many cards they give out, the doesn't change. This is why some leagues always have, as some say, crappy referees... because not many want to work those games/teams/leagues.

@@grumpyref You are correct. A lot of players in the men's IST videos seem to come out just to fight or try to hurt people. Don't really think cards would stop them. But as the referee you still have to try to do it. If they don't work, then report problems teams/players to the league. If I was reffing in these particular leagues , the yellows would be out early. 2:20 absolutely should have been a yellow card and an early indication to not try any crap. But no, just a warning.
