I was one of the 1.6. And on that night I tried to take my life. But God heard my cry , God-sent my grand baby calling my name. Which stopped me. Now I am a Christian counselor with a degree in psychology. Because God has things for me to do. I was on my way on to a bad place but God . Praise God for his love and kindness.

I’ve had a rough year physically. My blood pressure dropped unexpectedly in June and has yet to return to normal. This happened to me once before and took 3 years to remedy, but the medicine that helped last time isn’t having the same effect this time. My normal blood pressure is 115/75, for reference, but now it’s often closer to 90/50 or even 80/50. This - even more than covid - has shut down most of my life. When my blood pressure is so low, even keeping a train of thought on its tracks is difficult, much less interacting or rising from bed to do things. BUT GOD has made this year spectacular for me, no kidding. He has pressed me to His bosom where I can hear His heart beat. He has brought tremendous spiritual growth through His Word and through prayer, and my faith has grown. I used to really struggle with depression and self-pity (which aren’t so dissimilar in my case), but this year in my having to stop so many things in my life I’ve had opportunities to just listen to God, and He tells me the most amazing things - I am loved. Because of Christ, I am the righteousness of God and don’t have to earn anything for myself. God’s unending favor rests upon me solely because of Jesus. I used to try to believe these things but didn’t actually believe them. BUT GOD didn’t give up on me, and when I chose not to give up on Him, through His Spirit, He gave my heart ears to hear. And now I do believe and am filled more and more with gratitude, joy, and peace. Instead of shame and fear.
I needed to listen to this. I've grown up in a Christian home and asked Jesus into my life at an early age. Growing up I experienced quite a lot of trauma mostly from being bullied/insulted/assaulted by other children and even some teachers. I have and still do often feel misunderstood and alienated from others because of my differences. I developed severe Anxiety and Depression in elementary school. I've really been struggling with having no self esteem and generally don't feel a sense of purpose or belonging. I have major trust issues and because of being hurt by others so many times I keep myself guarded with iron bars around my heart. I know I have a great family and friends who support me but I often feel like I'm a burden to them and feel like they'd be better off without me. The nonstop torment in my mind has brought me dangerously close to taking my life. I often feel like the only reasons I keep going is for others like my family or friends. Otherwise I definitely wouldn't still be here today. Sometimes it's just the simple joys of life.
As soon he said that God heard her tears, I started crying. Then he said God's sees my tears, and I cried even harder. God's looking out for all of us, He's going to bring us out of the fire.
God got me out of an abusive marriage of 30years, and gave me a new home that is safe, and when i struggled at 60 years of age to pay my rent he came through for me, thank you Lord Jesus, for the vindication and provision amen and my salvation amen
In my time of distress and betrayal, a friend, had me memorize Psalm 27. "The Lord is my light and salvation, whom shall I fear? " That was three years ago. God is good and he hears prayers. He may not answer the way we want, but the way that is best for us.

Thank you Pastor Jeremy for these encouraging words. I have a life filled with 'But God' stories. Some of them go way back. But when my daughter died two years ago I struggled to find my But God moment. But hearing you bring these little reminders is part of what gets me through those moments when I really really miss my daughter. Thank you so much and please say a prayer for me and my granddaughters. They're suffering from both depression and anxiety. They were 13 and 10 when they lost their mom. I trying to help them get to their "But God" but it's in Gods hands.

I was travelling across Peru after two months of volunteering at an orphanage. One day, all my money was stolen from me and I was left with nothing but a passporta and a plane ticket home. It seemed hopeless, BUT GOD guided me for two weeks and carried me in his hands. There was not a night I didin't sleep in a bed and I was driven from a place to another without paying a dime. Even on the plane from Cuzco to Lima, I swapped seats with an old lady so she could stretch her legs ... turned out her son was so grateful he gave me a ride in a limo, took me to a museum, bought me lunch and drove me back to the airport so I could catch my plane back to Europe. I have never doubted his existence since.

I must say this is an amazing video of hope for people who have lost someone to suicide. My best friend took his life a few months ago. So many people would say he went straight to hell, but God gave me confirmation that he granted him mercy! Many people do not understand gods heart he is merciful. Many people do not understand how hopeless someone can feel or have experienced tormenting spirits. I miss him but I know he is no longer being tormented! He is with God!

2023-08-30 ... Tomorrow my Christian marriage is apparently genuinely over, finished ... Katherine is evicting me from her house ... I'll actually sleep in my truck tonight, parked in the driveway, because going in her house hurts too much ... I've been a faithful Christian husband, greatly helpful to Katherine ... A growing Christian disciple ... Why do I write this? It all seems hopeless ... hopeless ... this is my third marriage .... I've given blood, sweat and tears to this marriage ... I wish Jesus would take my life tonight ... just end the tears and pain ... 💔

Yes, call the suicide prevention hotline and the cops will come and handcuff you like you are a common criminal and haul you out of your home and off to a hospital where they lock you up for ......????? however long they decide!! Has to be a better way to get some help!

I am a hopeless sinner and I have no one to turn to. I am cursed ny God and everywhere I go I attract nothing but rejection and disgust. No one can stand me for very long and I am dying very slowly and very sadly. My life has been forfeited...i forfeited my life through anger, lust, violence ...mostly verbal and sexual. I have no hope. I have lost everything especially the love of my daughter, my wife my sons, brothers and sisters...and vmost of all God. I believe that not even Satan wants me...absolutely no one wants me around. Is there a place for the hopeless sinners?
Yes there is. God said I'll never leave you nor forsake you. The word also says ,Nothing will ever separate us from the Love of God. When everyone turns away from you,just turn to God, He is the one that will not turn His back on you. Is there any sin God cannot forgive? God is alpha omega of your life...and I promise you if you continue seeking him and resureendering yourself,He will not put you into shame. God Loves you
Joseph must have been socially needy to think that it was worth it. Its a sobering fact when you figure out that he means what he says about giving up your life, being a sacrifice. Every family, business, organization, etc. Has their assigned scape goats, God is no different. He has his favorites, you cannot read the bible and argue that, some of us are here for the gift of life, some are here to bear the burdens.
Perhaps an underlying cause is that it feels or seems like the same misery

@@joebarker3386 My body is full of 2 types of rare cancer with no treatments and Gastroparesis ( digestive tract paralysis) and fibromyalgia and I have not eaten in 3 days and before that only a bite or two of anything. Everything taste like poison 🤢 And the pain is so bad now they don’t have a medication too give me to take the pain away!!!!! It has always been in Gods hands and I am just suffering more each day and praying his will is to take me home soon! I have new faster growing tumors one in my left arm and one at the base of the left side of my skull . Also have a torn rotator cuff or tumor in my left shoulder!!!! All I can do is pray because hospice can’t do anything else ! I have t have liquid or disintegrating tablets because of the Gastroparesis . But I don’t think anything is being absorbed I’m very dehydrated even though I am drinking it’s not doing any good! But I just drink water occasionally. And my last trip to the hospital they said there was nothing they could do for me and sent me home and did not take very good care of me I had bedsores they did not bathe me they did not change my sheets it was horrible treatment I don’t wanna go back to the hospital!!! At least until I’m almost gone🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@mitziwebb4381 true there may be nothing the hospice can do, but God can make good result from seemingly impossible situations. Continue to pray and I will continue to pray for you also. God is the one who can deliver you from all your troubles. Don't give up. You may not need to leave this world for many years to come, and I believe that God can and will use your troubles to result in many more coming to faith in him. Don't give up - God is in control, now and forever.

What is the point of life, why do we have to even live in the first place.
What's the point of it all, everything we are doing here on earth.
I know there is a reason but I can't seem to find it and that is even worse than the pain I am dealing with.
Pick up your Bible and read the stories mentioned here. Praying u can find your answers.
And the fact that you were born means you have been given a purpose...search for it in God and you will find it....You will however never find the right one when you search outside of God. Keep searching in His presence and His word...The word has all answers
