Are there no American lumber producers? Are garage doors only made in China? When tariffs are imposed, do you impose them for every product that a foreign country produces? Or would you select certain markets of products selectively? I've got a feeling that you don't understand how tariffs work
As you’re probably aware, all of the things we import for the most part can be purchased in the United States so why don’t we just buy them here? Well it’s all about costs, right? So if we continue to buy from overseas which is likely to happen even with tariffs because the cost will likely be cheaper, guess who pays those tariffs? That’s right, the person that’s actually receiving the goods….. so builders are importing those goods, do you think they’re going to eat the cost or do you think they’re gonna pass it along to the consumer? Or better yet maybe Trump just passes tariffs on everything but housing goods per your statement above.😂
American companies raise prices to match imported goods for the additional profit. Not taking a side in the election, just pointing out the reality of what companies do.
@@FableStudy exactly! Since the imported goods go up in price, local producers of the same goods usually end up increasing their prices because they know the consumer has no other choice but to pay for the higher price.
The home prices are still too high in Phoenix metropolitan.
$400k valued homes are in the market for sale at $700k.
Please educate your viewers, on the poor quality of new homes. Rushed built, sub standard materials, over priced JUNK!
Maybe you could educate people on politics and the ramifications of them
