This is a short "best Garcia picks" from this show. I know that most of these 1995 shows were more sour than sweet ... but here, the video is very clean (one angle)

Lovely to stumble upon a 95 performance occasionally that makes me smile. Jerry definately never lost his soul.
was there, so precious
This is the LAST time I seen them, then a few months later, well, we all know!! Man I miss going to a show! ESPECIALLY on Philly!!!
I mis you Jerry.
Always loved those St patty / phils birthday vibes. Makes my heart happy 😊
95 was rough but they still had some spark here and there. Must be the venue. They ripped it up at the spectrum. Thanks.
Oh man I miss these guys!
A study in the acoustics of heroin
You are very good at producing quality content for us fans thank you so much
Bernstein vid , thanks for sharing. Sounds fantastic ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🙏✌️🦋🥰🐦🔥🎶🗝🕉
Bobby sounds excellent
Jerry's health was so bad. He was already gone. His heart just didn't know it. If the band had just cared enough to get him real help maybe just maybe Jerry would still be around today. I miss Jerry and I miss The Grateful Dead. Some of the best times of my life were at Grateful Dead shows. Part of me died with Jerry.
On New Speedway Boogie you need power in your voice guitar. Jerry didn't have it.
The band did care , jerry didn't
Yes Phil made it clear they wanted to help but Jerry didn't want it
This was my last show. A St. Paddy's Day Treat, Indeed! Was so happy to hear Peggy-O "NSB". Fitting "Standing on the Moon" 🌙 THANKS JERRY ❤
😀❤️😀❤️😀 Thank you! As you’ve said It’s a bitter sweet time in the life of the band but I’m still so happy to be able to “experience” it. 🙏🏽
Too cool Sir !
❤️❤️❤️✌️ lukefish 🐠🐟🤣🐟🐠
I cried yesterday with that Visions upload you sneaky parker! I love you
NOT ALL WHO WANDER ARE LOST
So kind Roger Wilco!!! ❤️✌️
Hello Roger, I'm gonna put others up .... Give me a chance.
every time ive ever heard that visions , still is the most vivid memory ive taken from all those years , all those shows , much like Days between has captured this certain beauty i cant explain , that night i could feel jerry's love of the song he had described as his favorite to perform , yet at the time i had no clue it existed but as is always since i heard it for the first time ever my eyes just started leaking giant tears of a feeling i still cant explain .never once in countless tries that i play that version , dont suddenly without exception dehydrate half my body weight with involuntary alligator tears that ive learned to just let em flow , i think its god way of telling me im where im supposed to be , it still happens when i see live music today , when evverything seems to align , or as bobwould explain the total exceeds the sum of the combined parts i think that was how he explained synergy , before they lifted jerry with their pinkies on a great episode of letterman. people allways ask if everythings ok , thumbs up is my response , as i squeak an inaudible never better. ps. lolo ive probably shed a swimming pool from your uploads alone thank you , i believe its my body healing itself, lease i tell myself so . boy now more than ever would i love to be in a room full of like minded friends sucking up some of that synergy .peace and thanks to you
@@bigsadie3405 Hello, just to say that was so well wrote and I completely capture your justified sensitivity, A peace to you. And if I may, I'm healing too. You are not alone.
This is a great post. I was 23 at the time an this was my 1st(show) of 3 and i got to see the 1st night of giant stadium. Just so happy that i was able to see and experience the circus. If im correct i was pumped to go see them at the Garden in September October maybe. Just a special sene. Haven’t got off the bus. ☝🏻
Man! He might of screwed up a verse, but boy did he make up for it at the end I'D RATHER BE WITH YOOOOOOOUUUU and then rip that lead!!! Yesssssss!!!!
Thanks for posting this. Thanks to those who filmed this. Increadible.
Jerry's soul made up for what his body was starting to take from his final year and I got to see that two weeks later in Memphis for my first Dead show. Check out the 4-1-95 SOTM, Candyman and Masterpiece. So good. My kingdom for a video from that show, I've been hoping someone will post it for 29 years lol. Please, if anyone has a copy, share? Thanks for these great glimpses Lolo!
Tough to watch. Everybody knew this was it.
Great...so glad I got to see them later, in June, at RFK. Those days, a lot of people had joined in the 'scene' who were kinda spoiling it. (pretty common knowledge) Plus, after so many truly stellar shows (including JGB) in the late 80s, it was sad to see Jerry getting progressively haggard, including recovering from a coma. I got a tape from his first show back from that, at Berkeley Community Center and he was a shell of his former self...He regained some trajectory, but lots of weight was impending...Strange times. Ran into Bobby at a bar in Marin a few months later and got to talk a good little bit about it. Almost like something surreal, had to break...
The horses pushed us out of the lots. We weren't ready to roll yet.
thank you man!!
I was present here too
The tour was coming to and end and nobody really knew bcz you were always caught in the moment...whether it be partying and boogying....hanging w friends, or hitting that 2 day binge wall and sleeping for entire day..trying to figure out how to get to the next city on tour ticket or not....the lot scene was going downhill fast....bunk paer floating around...kids strung out all over the lot....if you did buy some paper...you damn sure better test it before dropping a lot of moey on it bcz the heroin scene was gaining traction and fast, at this point...hell, myself, and I wasnt as bad as some other cats.... I had already bailed from RVA bcz my D habit was so bad by this time in 95 which started late 93...I moved out to the country in se NC to escape it...and I wasn't even oiling....here it is 2021 and I'm 47 almost and o probation for poss of heroin in Wilmington NC....grow up, Charlie.
Very painful to watch. ❤ ❤
Too bad Jerry's guitar was so low in the mix for that last solo on SOTM....it was ripping
Howdy ! With no disrespect, but Garcia's mix was just fine, as thas the song.
@@LoloYodel no disrespect taken! Just my opinion that it would have been better had it been higher/louder.... and to be clear, I wasn't blaming you for that...seems Jerry often turned his volume knob way down the last year or so.
Jerry lost the 11 so he was standing on the MOON
