- Shot by crackerfarm at a rare Avett Brothers rehearsal. This video has the whole band, a previously unrecorded version of traveling song, and is made from an exclusive point of view. You will not see anything like this from any other source, but you will se lots more of this kinda thing.

At the 2:12 mark, you can see him writing the lyrics to "Live and Die." That is awesome.
10 years and this shit STILL holds up 👌
Thank goodness for Crackerfarm and the Avett Brothers...another awesome video to keep all of us fans satisfied until our next Avett Experience. One of life's greatest gifts is to find simple things that bring so much happiness! Thanks Crackerfarm!
Brings a smile everyday when I hear this song!!
This is my favorite song!
I love this song, and this version.
Love the smiles on all their faces at the end.
Awesome. I'll be seeing them April 1st in Tuscaloosa and I'm so excited. It'll be my 2nd time seeing them. The first time we were able to hang out afterward with the band... what makes me love this band so much is how down to earth they are. Just some good ol' country boys. Who wouldn't love to hang out during this!
i havent even watched the video yet, but i am gonna say this is the best crackerfarm video EVER!!!
My friend from Charlotte brought me here!!! I am in love with this band. Thanks, Davide Carpano!!!

It's Christmas come early!!!!! Sooo awesome!!
The bounce of this song makes me smile every time.
that quite possibly could be the best cf vid yet
Love Seth singing in the truck, Bob's face at 1:46, watching them in a doorknob 2:26 (creative points for Crackerfarm!) and the fact that Seth cannot sit still!!!
Greatest thing to ever happen to music.
They played this version at a show I went to in October. I love this video! :D
That's really an amazing catch. well done.
I genuinely love this fucking video. Being born and raised in concord, nc makes it hit that much more.
Thank you so much.
I think this is the first time in years that I've seen Scott with both a clean shave and short hair.
Scott looks like a baby! So fresh faced :) Too cute & the song rocks!
Holy shit, Seth singing at the beginning is amazing.
Beautiful.
i would love more of this kind of stuff
I like that the little note card that is being written is what seems to be the first penning of Live and Die!
what a gem. love the slower version.
totally is!!!! great find!!!
It is just Good as Normal. Thanks.
This is perfection...
They played this version in Baton Rouge last week, I guess they have been playin this one while on tour lately. Love this song either way!!

He is singing "Any Day Now" by Sam Cooke
Scott's soulful moves! and Seth's jaunty moves!

4:16 Seth's voice is soooo amazing.
Crackerfarm!!!!!! You are magical like unicorns.
CONCORD TOWN! LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!!!
fannnnnntastic
I can feel a little taste of The Beatles! Nice
wow Seth can even do the "Seth Shuffle" sitting in a chair!
thumbs up...this version on the new album
@lookitsamatt - you can usually get a Levi Garrett hat like that on ebay. there are about 3 of them up for sale right now! sometimes they go as high as $60.00
hell yeah "Lets Go Salisburytown" my town!
I hear what yer saying but the house is still rocking!
Seth at 4:44...Love it.
Wow, Scott looks so young without a beard
Dig the slowed down version. Awesome.
Wish that they would come to Louisiana.
It's roots music. Folk. Bluegrass. It touches people. If you don't like it, piss off. If it's "ordinary" then re-create the sound and go get your record deal.
Blue Ribbon Healers living this sh!t!
Nice spot
Are those the lyrics for the new song "Live and Die" being written at 2:15?
@brodank - yep i was right, BEST ever bro!!
Does anyone know what Seth is singing at the beginning?
Live and Die lyrics- two years before... 2:15
Anyone know the chords for this version?
Thats a fucking great one!!
@kaddy3232
Brothers with a good relationship can do that.
I imagine the same is true for sisters, though I can not personally speak on that.
Can anyone tell me what guitar Seth is playing here?
What song is Seth singing in the beginning?! I need to know!
i'm from charlottesville-town :D 4:03
Scott looks so young here
That drummer looks like he'd like to be somewhere, anywhere else...and now he is
He always looks like that. He was a college friend of mine. He liked touring,
He Didn’t like seth cheating on his then wife, with his current wife.
I think Scott and Seth can communicate telepathically.
Damn. i miss old Avett so much.
yes obviously....
@Smess96 Or a can of "Peckers and Lips" (Vienna Sausages or Potted meat) with the label torn off?!?! LOL!
staring at scott the whole time
Crackerfarm classic ya'll...again
Anyone know what style picking Seth is using on the Banjo?
Just strumming. It’s not clawhammer. He picks a bit.
casey affleck plays scott in the film 2:58
at 2:12 they show the lyrics to their new song "Live and Die"...sneaky.
thats exactly what that is.
I hope they can make it to Shannon Hoons vigil this yr.
DRUM SOLOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Scott Avett is probably the only musician that successful that drives as humble a car as a plain white F-150.
I would imagine that it's some gospel song since he sings "I know that I am going home"
@humdinger77 - Seth dosnt play banjo in this video
@brodank you are right avett junkies are the best
0:45
Obviously you have not looked into them very much. Try to listen to their last two albums and tell me that.
who is the drummer?????
@zwergnasederstarke - Junky?!?! you say that as if it is a bad thing, avett junkies are the best!!
