First of all, girlfriend has truly been gifted! Secondly, appears she was just trying to keep things moving. Not being so quick to judge others' intentions is always a good place to be. Oh yeah, and she looked great.

evidently some of us have never been to a COGIC convention ....Pastor Kim was simply tryin to keep the flow steady...ppl AWAKE..and the program moving....im QUITE SURE it was STOOPID late!!! shes a very sweet lady if you ever meet her...and very loving and funny!!
I want to move to Houston TX, now and I just move here to GA. Shes about to open her own church Oh I cant wait might have to make a flight... Shes #1 in my book.
I don't see her being rude...she just has a spirit of Excellence and expects the same from others. She treats ppl the way she wants to be treated. if she was in the band or choir she would follow the leaders cues and give her all. I also see her thinking and acting out the words she singing lol!
Did she just randomly get up after she seeing nothing was being accomplished and tore it up like that! I LOVE IT! (did it once at this church, my church was visiting) When you hear GOD telling you to move, all you can do is tell the people next to u excuse me! LOL

In ministry. Some times there is no time to play. One must be to the point. We has Christians seem to think everything should be polite n sweet. Even Jesus had to be stern at time. The woman is gifted n anointed n I'd entrust myself under her anyway
She’s giving everything even when she’s tired. I don’t think she’s asking anything she would demand of herself. Don’t know her still she does seem matter of fact at times. I think she just meant you won’t need much to do what I’m gonna do while you’re getting ready and tried to keep things moving by starting the song quickly.

Which version of ourselves is more acceptable in ministry??

@Marioc911 I was on the stage that night EVERYBODY was tired,and each group that got up took forever because everybody had their own tracks&equipment my choir included.Also evry group wanted to start shouting,In any convention there is always a time limit to how long we can be in that building.One year when Prof. Iris Stevenson was President the lights and equipment actually shut off because we were in there so long...so it's either keep the program moving or pay the extra money
She's anointed no doubt but for us to watch this video and be able to tell how she was feeling is not right... Wearing our heart on ourselves sleeves is not the HOLY way of to handling things... That goes for everybody, including myself... #tiredOFseeingIT

These comments are not true. I was there that night and we have to understand that at these AIM conventions, we are in church ALL day literally. Kim Burrell was in charge of the youth choir, which mean Youth Service at 12 noon, choir rehearsal after that, 7pm service, and then the musical after that. It was like 2 in the morning in this video. And she was just trying to keep things flowing. There are long pauses becuz musicians have to keep setting and taking apart their instruments.smh
I love her voice, but she's always snappy, full of attitude and being rude to the singers or band. That's so not a good look and doesn't reflect Christ at all. Just look at her all thru the video she's frowning up and looking back with an attitude...beautiful gift!!! Awful attitude!!
