I’m sure your new powerhouse pc can easily run nvidia broadcast, Tyler 😁 Green screen is probably still slightly better but you have the pain of setting it up, lighting it properly, etc. this is a pretty good option in a pinch.
@@KevinStratvert agreed! I am curious to see what the different would be in both and if it isn’t significant I may think twice about setting up a green screen in the future :)
@@KevinStratvert I definitely will. I am needing to record some more videos soon, so this will be great to test out. For some odd reason no matter how many lights I add to my scene in obs, sometimes getting that green screen to key out cleaning can be a struggle. I actually bought an elgato light from a neighbor for half off to hopefully fix that issue. We’re you using a green screen in between scenes? Like when you had that dark blue background when you were narrating? That keying looked super clean :)
Yeah, it’s all about even lighting on the green screen. In between, that’s my actual background 😂 the lighting just helps me pop out from the background. I’m using an Aputure MC to add the blue to the background, an Aputure P60c for the hair and shoulder light, and an Aputure Amaran 100d for the key light with their Light Dome SE attached for diffusion. The channel Epic Light Media has some awesome lighting tutorials. The whole light setup with stands and all runs for about $900. For the quality, it’s really good value.
